Stephen, I am pretty new to you and the MKAL, but I have been needing to reign it in on my yarn spending. I get so much fomo. Especially after I saw the kits. Thank you for your compassionate and anti- consumption approach to your MKAL. You provided amazing kits for those who wanted it, but I love how you also support and encourage those of us who have to shop within a budget or use or stash. This video made me feel less shame or insecurity for not being able to afford a kit this year. It's just so refreshing and lovely coming from someone so huge in the yarn community. Thank you so so much! :)
This is my first MKAL and am so excited to get started! I went to my local yarn store yesterday, to pick out my yarns, and found about 5 other women picking out their yarn as well! I love the knitting community, but especially around this MKAL.
i'm actually spinning for mine. got some cormo which i'm dyeing and spinning up at the moment.
Stephan, I appreciate your dedication to making these MKAL quests obtainable to all. This video takes all the scary pressure off having the RIGHT Kit. It’s obviously you want us to focus on fun.

Okay I am going to join in but before I begin I have to finish the Woven Chevrons shawl that has been languishing. And funny thing, before I watched your videos about the GEOGRADIENT MKAL, I had already pulled out the Chevron shawl to complete. So, I am going to give myself permission to participate.

hi stephan, thank you for showing the black/white resp. grey nuances. as a weaver I have learned to understand the importance of this for the planning of a cloth/knitted piece. please, bring it more often!

I'm looking forward to my first MKAL. I call my color collection Pink Profusion. I'd love to come to Amsterdam and visit, maybe someday.

Stephen always has very detailed directions. Also lots of videos. If you get stuck the ravelry group Geogradient: Westknits MKal 2023 will have all levels of knitters that can answer your questions. I say go for it.

I have one just like the neon toxic waste greeny yellow you held up, and I just love it so much, Fyberspates Cumulus I think it is. So I’d like to use that if possible! Thanks!
