Stephen is an artist in every sense of the word & I don’t know how on earth he comes up with the variety of patterns for each one of his shawls. Looking forward to watching your progress. Love seeing your shawls and the guess for the mkal, i think he will have a half star shape so triangles on the bottom, and a pattern like inside a geode where the crystals make symmetrical shapes….. thanks also for some colour inspo.

They're usually a bit much for me, but I adore seeing the clues as they come out, and all different ones everyone is making. The MKAL is a good spectator sport, too! 😋🥰

This was a lovely video to watch Ellie comparing all the SW shawls over the years. I must confess not to be a huge fan of his designs although I do like some of the patterns. I think your colour sets are lovely and should work beautifully in any of the outrageous designs he’s sure to come up with! I shall continue to watch your videos for updates x
Looking at previous shawls, I can see lots of triangles being put together somehow, but yes, the space theme is intreaguing. Hmmm, looking forward to seeing what it is. 😆

Your shawls are all beautiful colours! I've made Rockefeller, Exploration Station, The Doodler, Marled Magic Shawl, Starflake, Slipstravaganza and Twists and Turns. I still have Color Craving, Speckle and Pop and Shawlography in my queue. I will be doing the Geogradient Shawl and think it might be themed based on the geographic designs that have been coming out all year. I think if I get these done I may as well finish the set and get an Earth and Sky, Building Blocks Shawl and Texture Time done as well to complete the set. I do want to knit a Texture Time but don't have the pattern yet and keep getting sidetracked by patterns I have, for other things as well as this MKAL list. Do I wear any of them? No. I'm not a shawl wearer but I love making them. Mine tend to go to someone else or decorate my craft room wall. I'm building up a collection of Hiberknittalong shawls as well lol..
Love love love the colour choices you have died , I can’t make my mind up wether to join in this year , I didn’t finish the twist and turns , it’s sitting a bag waiting to get finished so I just don’t know xxx
