It's great what's going on with Pulisic and all but the US needs several other players to step up to make some noise at the WC.

Without question, and I don't see anyone coming close to his level. Jedi is elite, but was thinking more in attacking third... Was hoping Balogun would get there. We have a lot of work to do..

    1. CP10’s best performance by far was that 2 month window during the 2020 lockdown, where he not only scored but against top level teams. His performance against Liverpool and Man City were amazing…
I’d like to see him play for either Real Madrid or Barcelona, rather than an EPL team where they’ll just push him around and not give him space, plus he’ll be consistently injured again.
    2. Not sure if the Milan derby is the biggest rivalry… perhaps the most violent one is Boca-River… they don’t allow fans to be side by side but rather separated by large swaths of the seats, as well as military police in full riot gear…
Just this past weekend there was a game and they’re still reeling from the mess…

Those took my breath away, but he is a different player now. The stuff he did off the ball and defensively.. I mean when is the last time we seen him win ball back? I saw it 3 ? times on Sunday...

La liga is a good idea, but he won't ever get consistent playing time at Barcelona or Real Madrid, will just screw his career up. The Valencias, Sevillas, and Real Sociedads are more realistic. Maybe an Atleti. Other La Liga teams he might think are a step down from AC Milan.

True that any La Liga team besides the Real/Barca duopoly would be a step down, but I do think CP10 could easily start on both of those teams if he’s healthy.
I also think CP10 could start again at one of the big 4 EPL teams, but all they do there is body slam smaller skilled players and the refs rarely call fouls on those type of plays, so for that reason alone I don’t think England is favorable. But I do see La Liga is more similar to Serie A where there’s lots of open spaces and far less body slamming even though there is a tendency to play dirty.

Good question. I did say they were players to be considered not there yet at who could improve team.. Here is my list - Steffen, Schulte, Zimmerman, Miles Robinson, Tolkin, Mihailovic, DeJuan Jones. Aiming more veteran guys although some young kids like Diego Luna or Noel Buck could grow into it. As Nery pointed out maybe a couple naturalized guys like Lucho Acosta.. Thanks for tuning in.

I think you have to add a couple of goalies into the mix. Schulte for sure. Maybe Steffan? I haven't seen him play recently though. Being a backup isn't good enough, even if it is a backup in the Prem. And let's face it, our Balogun and Pepi aren't really tearing it up at Monaco/PSG. I'm not saying they are bad, but it's not like they've been impressive, and Balogun wasn't good for Monaco all last season, so maybe take a look at Brandon Vasquez or even Jordan Morris.

Anyone who doesn't think Sebastian Lletget should be on the team is a moron. Lletget is one of the only American players who can dribble, pass, & shoot with both feet. Our idiot fans wanted Musah over Lletget in the midfield three, so they talked shit about Lletget. He's a very good player who can actually play 1-2 touch with Pulisic. There's obviously Mihailovic, Diego Luna, Noel Buck, Andrew Farrell, Bobby Wood, DeJuan Jones, Brandon Bye, & Shane O'Neill. Most of our European guys are pretty bad. All of them minus a few stand around and do jack shit. Chris Richards for example makes mistakes every game, as do Musah & Cardoso. Nobody is impressed by the US handing out passports to some of the European dual-nationals. At least Lletget, Mihailovic, & Luna can pass & move and play final balls and score. Tactical Manager & company made up that MIhailovic had heavy touches in the Olympics when he was deliberately playing the ball away from incoming defenders to set up his next pass. Tab Ramos, Eric Wynalda, & Ray Hudson all think Mihailovic is excellent. If you watch MLS games the commentators always say the same for Lletget too. We suck, bro.

@cubanhammer Sadly most of these guys were out of their collective depth in Paris. We really are not seeing much class from US born MLS players after watching these CONCACAF CL matches save for Aidan Morris who is in EFL. Canada's golden boy Shaffenburg and other Latin born guys are just better MLS players. The only MLS players who should be considered are Acosta and Jalen Neal. Tolkin has talent but needs refinement before being called up--in Paris he was sliced up and frankly needs more competition to get any better.

Take the best players no matter how old or where they’re playing. If they fit the system and can do the job on international level than pick them PERIOD.
