This is such a great idea! I have been printing something off of the web, then sewing it with no thread to perforate the paper. Then using that to pounce the design with talcum powder. This is so much more simple and clean.

Great idea, thankyou. I had been looking at the Bohin veil but the cost was prohibitive, so I was delighted to find this method. Thanks for sharing.

I love this method. I've used it for creating applique , top stitching, etc. But its the best and cost efficient.

No I haven’t. I don’t typically go straight to the quilt top right after making the template so it’s usually nice and dry by the time I use it.
