Iirc, not meeting stat requirements only lowers your stability and damage values of the shield. All defensive values should be at full value regardless of stats. I don't feel like getting on and testing it myself atm, so don't quote me on this lol.
I've only ever had someone kill themselves once. It was a blue who showed up in a few of my low lvl invasions. The last time he showed up, saw me, then turned around and ran off the map lol

This weapon was in Dark Souls 2 and it was fucking dummy OP. It had the longest parry frames out of any weapon in the game, and could be used as a parry weapon just by using it as your offhand. Never seen anyone use it in DS3 though
Hey Chase at 14:30 you mentioned his pontiff curved sword came out faster out of hitstun, however earlier you hit him in a similar situation and yours came out faster. I've read that when you do a running attack that the other persons weapon will always come out faster than your r1(assuming they mash r1). If it's true I think that is why the PKCS came out first.
I don't get why they didn't make this a paired weapon even though the Painted Guardians would wield two of them. It would also make the bleed potential crazy good.
This is REALLY good blood infused offhand for mixups if your main weapon gets native bleed aux. It’s a better bleed offhand than bandit knife for example
You just have to keep fighting. Eventually you'll see patterns and you'll just get good. For now, just have fun and don't be too competitive. Just watch those who are better and try to learn. Try their own moves on them and experiment. Good luck! Gitting Gud is a journey but a surprisingly quick one when it picks up.

I come back and the only reason ive been playing over the last few weeks is because i doubt i would any longer be able to land a single hit on this man. Ill beat you soon chase, much love
iv actually been using this on my 50luck 35dex build, blood infused. its monstrous if it lands. also if u spam the weapon art they tend to get stun locked for 4/6 hits use the heavy on the 3rd stun and u can land full combo with blood splat for around 700/900 damage, not great for 1vX though
It is still pretty cancer tbh, you just gotta know how to utilize it in DS3. While having really low range, it still deals mean damage especiallt on a DEX/FTH build. Being a curved sword means you outspeed nearly every weapon and carry some bs phantom range. PGCS also has a pretty efficient rollcatch once you understand the timing, it is done with R1 R1 L2. If you can land your full WA while buffed, you can easily eat through most turtles' guard or deal huge amounts of damage. PGCS is an underestimated weapon tbh, people neglect it simply because it has short range. Everyone is so busy with "meta" that they often neglect more fun, and easily viable, weapons in DS3.

I've checked SL at rosaria's and it does add up, I have no particularly weird weapons that shouldn't exist. Does getting lots of some item and things like covenent rings/spells/weapons matter? Or maybe + rings without going to ng?
I've checked forums and i've removed some of the stuff i think might be sus to whatever they use, "you have been penalized" can be reversed and just takes time right?
You know how you switch to the Sun Princess Ring when the battle is dragging on? I always thought it'd be cool if that's how you used the Hornet Ring, only when their playstyle is really asking for it. Like I know you already avoid fishing in the arena, but it'd be nice to see more moveset goodness if you feel me. Also, it might give these poor bastards a bit of dignity since you're gonna wipe the floor with them anyway lmao
