- 🌱 Hello!! I have finally shared with everyone what my first week was like here studying in Athens, Greece. I started studying here since the fall of 2022, and will be staying until May 2023.

Today's vlog captures my first week of the fall semester (2022) here. It was scary to move to a completely different country, but I instantly clicked with a lot of people in the same program that helped me feel more at home, and less-lonely! In my first week here, I moved to the apartments provided by the college (American College Of Greece), got to know my school more through orientations and events for study abroad students, tried a lot of Greek food and explored some parts of Athens! After my week ended, I know for sure that I will be having the greatest time of my life here in Greece.
---- If my roommates and friends in Deree from the fall 2022 semester are seeing this, I MISS YOU GUYS SO MUCH😢 I hope you all are doing good wherever you are, and we will soon meet again ❤️

Are there Jobs for international students? english speaking jobs?
I think everyone’s experience will be different according to what they seek in traveling/studying in greece, but I really love the feeling of surrounded by history there, and they have such unique culture! For me, it was average as I was close to all the stores that I need and greek people are very hospitable and friendly, so in terms of the quality of life, for me, it was good. As for jobs, I didn’t really dive into seeking jobs in Greece but a lot of the people I know (but are greek) work in jobs with an English speaking environment!

The college I attended, American College Of Greece provides housing for international students, so that's where I lived! I'm not quite sure about other apartments, sorry😢

Parthenon was destroyed a long time ago !!!! This is a replica and the authentic parts are in london museum and athens museum...

@@kal.Ko1719 i am from athens !!!! Parthenon at 1690 was bombed by italians ( morozini) against ottomans ... nothing left there thats why after few years english they took some parts of ruins in london...
