Adam, you are the GOAT. I am a novice at WP sites building and always had trouble with headers. Elementor's header builder was a slight improvement, but still confusing. I installed Kadence last week on my new site based on your advice. I built a BEAUTIFUL simple, clean header in less than 30 min, and most of that time was just playing with the features. It was so freaking easy. The UI logic created by the Kadence team is off the charts. I do think the available items was pretty limited, but it forced me to keep the design simple and clean, and not screw it up. I made a nice sticky header in about 2 mins - wow! Kadence, with Elementor and Envato Elements free themes made me feel like a pro. Today's video just affirms that the Kadence team rocks. And you rock too for helping us mere mortals navigate this confusing WP world.
Hello, First of all, thanks for introducing this theme. I installed the theme and activated it on one of my sites, and it is really mind-blowing! Can't believe that a free theme has this much specialties. So far, I thought Astra was the greatest theme and this changed everything. Also, after customizing, I checked the speed of my website which was around 40-50 and it is nearly 100 now! Thanks for this great video.
Thank you for adding "timestamps" to your tutorial. I bookmark many of your topics and by having a quicker method to topic areas provides a faster way to revisit specific features.
I will be adding them to all future videos now that TH-cam has expanded the feature. Really though, I should have made this move much sooner, but I am always trying to make things easier for my subscribers.
When I came to the Wordpress platform, the notions of swapping themes was fascinating. In reality swapping themes is an exercise. You need to verify all feature images, and layout, redo post widgets etc. It is not something one wants to do often. Yet if I were starting out building a new site Kadence seems to be a good choice.
I installed Kadence on my sites that had Astra installed, noticible difference in speed, usability and general feel. I am grateful that you introduced us to this theme - it's great! Just setup a Woocommerce store, looks better with the Kadence addons which I believe are free. Keep up the good work.
Hi Adam. Thanks for the continued info regarding this theme. My experience with the theme so far has been great. As a relative beginner to website building, I have found the theme very intuitive and easy to use. I've been in contact with the developer many times regarding little fixes and desired features. He has been very responsive and appreciative. I have used elementor with this theme to create a really nice personal blog with just about all of the features I was hoping for. I look forward to future videos regarding its progress. Thanks a bunch!
Thanks, Adam for this video. Kadence is very flexible and easy to learn. I am currently using it on a live page and the experience has been positive. I'm on board to buy the membership and see what the pro version will be like. It's funny that recently I was thinking about the function of the color palette and now I see that they added some suggestions to make better use of it, that's great. It is obvious the developers are putting a lot of effort into this theme. In a short time, it will be everyone's favorite.
Thanks, Adam, for another great video. I started switching sites from Astra Pro to Kadence based on your previous video. I agree on the color palette--it's magical, and how to use it was confusing. I made a cheat-sheet for myself on where the colors were used by default. I've used the Kadence theme on both Elementor and Beaver Builder sites. I've had some issues using it, especially with BB, and the developer has been super responsive. Everything has been fixed in a day. I've also started using Kadence Blocks and found they can replace a page builder on many pages. Thanks again for getting the word out about Kadence.
Thanks for sharing your experience. And I am glad to hear that they addressed the issue you let them know about :-). I gotta tell you, I am 100% convinced that in 12 months we will all be using Gutenberg to build websites. Kadence Blocks is going to be a big part of that, bridging the gap between what Gutenberg has and what you need it to that, those page builder features.
Finally got around to watching this and wow, I'm impressed! So much so that I bought the lifetime licence! Thanks for the added discount :) The header builder is pretty much like something that I proposed to Tom U. back in 2016 for GP and here it is now in Kadence. Right on! For the type of sites I build, it's going to be difficult to justify using a "pagebuilder" ;) Cheers! Lyle
It's a great theme from Kadence. I've been working with it since I saw your video about it. Had a nice contact with the designer Ben Ritner about some issues I had and provided him with (hopefully) useful feedback.
Adam, I'm switching to this theme. Do I choose to show the cart since I had skipped the cart and let my customers go straight to check out? Waiting for your response. Thank you.
Hi Adam, will Brizy work with Kadence? Also, for speed is it best to use a premium template or use the basic free version on Kadence? I like to have a feature-rich theme b but don't want a bloated theme with too many plugins. BTW: I looked at the Pro templates of Kadence, but do we need to add all those plugins for the fancy features if we use Brizy? Or are we better with Divi (BTW: I don't like the Elemantor interface - and won't use it) Thanks!
Hi Adam, great video! Wondering how to enable the social sharing in the single product page. I see the option to either show or hide, but I can't make the social sharing icons apear. Hope you can help me. Thank you!!
Hi Adam! What do you think of the Kadence theme compared to Neve theme? Neve also comes with some very nice features right out of the box in the free version and the interface seems a bit easier to navigate...would really appreciate a comparison video....THANKS for all your videos!
Hi Adam.. As always, Thank You for this video and all the stuff you teach us and show us. I'm curious.. in this tutorial about the Kadence Theme you talk about its interaction with LifterLMS and TudorLMS. But not LearnDash LMS. I'm curious, have you done a head-to-head review of those 3 (and any other major ones)... to help decide which to use. Last Black Friday, I purchased a deal on LearnDash but have not been overly happy about how it looks. I don't know if it's me (gaining experience) or what? I would love for you to do a head-to-head between the three and then give recommendations/guidance on how to choose between them. That would be awesome... Thanks.. (Your loyal student and customer) Michael
My personal preference is LearnDash. They do have plans to do something special for LearnDash and as soon as they are added I will make a video on it ;-). If there is something specific you want to see, the best move (if you are on Facebook) is to detail what you want out and ask in the Facebook group. That is how the other integrations happened.
Hi Adam! I've purchased their membership (wish I would have waited to get the discount). So far it's been a fairly good experience. Superfast theme! Only couple things I've found limiting are navigation menu options (Hambuger mobile menus are annoying and proven to hurt UX) and the post grid formats and layout in the Kadence blocks pro. It seems to have very few options for how posts are displayed (unless I'm missing something). For example, when using the list view, with feature images, I can't control the height of the containers, can't have the image off to the right or left, etc. Those are two important features for me. The menu thing though is something that's a common lack in most themes. I wish someone (preferably Kadence) would get in front of that. I have put a lot of weight in your reviews, Adam. Thank you for your efforts!
Thank you Adam, that's a great review! Is there any risk to switch from Astra to Kadence? And if I switch, do I need to make special controls to check if everything goes well? Finaly, can I switch back to Astra after tuning Kadence without any side effect? Congratulations for your videos Didier
Hi Adam, thanks for the video. I have a website build with Elementor Pro and Astra free and Learndash. Can I change the theme to Kadence without any problems?
Great theme, many thanks for highlighting it. Do you know how I can change the colour scheme of the comment section without changing the Title colour at the same time? It's way too dark on my black background.
Great tutorial. Do you have a video on how to transfer a woo commerce site build on a premium theme (farmers storeone pro) to Kadence theme? Also, will I need to upload all the products all over again or will that remain on my WP dashboard? Thank you.
Thanks for your Kadence (and other) videos, Adam. I’ve watched most of them. Right now I started my website using Elementor Pro, using its Theme Builder, which you recommended, along with the Hello Theme. Now that I’ve watched your Kadence videos, would you recommend my switching to Kadence (paid version, which I’d prefer if I go with Kadence) plus Elementor Pro? I’m not that far into building my site so a change would still be easy. Thank you.
Hiya, I am using another theme and like to change to Kadence theme. What is the best way to transfer over without losing any content? I currently have an eCommerce website. Better yet, do you have a video that covers this process?
The Kadence Starter Templates include a "Course" template that is showcasing single course sellers. I have 4 courses now, and expanding over the next few months to 6 courses. I'm using LearnDash for the courses. Do you recommend using the Kadence Course starter templates for one course and modifying, or choose the Astra Theme LearnDash Academy which starts assuming multiple courses? Pros/cons of the two situations?
You mentioned there is an easy way to remove the big CART title on the cart page. I've spent hours on it, not so easy for me. Seems there's no way in Kadence to remove it?
Thanks a lot for this video tutorial. Sir, I switched from Astra to Kadence after watching your first video intro about this theme. But I am having the challenge of making my trending products to display on my home page. WooCommerce shortcode for this doesn't seem to work or have any effect. Anything I am not doing right?
Thank you very much Adam. I have installed Kadence and tinkering with it on my temporary site. Now I am ready to install it on my main site. Just want to know is this theme supported by all known plugins like yoast, ultimate member, WPforms, statistics plugins etc ? Sorry for a newbie question.
Hi Adam, thanks for this interasting review ! Could you test colorway WordPress theme ? This theme included some plugins as a Booking tool ? I appreciate to know your opinion about that 😉
Hi Adam, I already asked the question "somewhere else", but maybe I should be with the Kadence man.. ;) I'm using Elementor Pro, and I'm used to using it with Hello. When I have Woocommerce sites I bundle it with Astra or OceanWP. Kadence looks promising - with the paid plugins. Also I see the Kadence theme as being more of a builder? I’m switching from Divi to Kadence and all of my blog posts have code under my feature image and at the very bottom of the post. Do I have to manually delete this or is there a setting I’m missing? Thanks!
Hello Adam, As a Kadence Lifetime Member I can use Kadence Pro but I just want to ask that Does Genesis Framework and their child theme really improve Speed and SEO better than Other theme.. Honestly..
@@WPCrafter yes that would be awesome Adam, I think that will help us a lot to make a decision, I really want to try using blocks as you are saying it is the future for websites. Cheers and thanks for such an awesome videos.
Thanks Adam. It worked great. I use Elementor Pro and was using Astra Pro. I followed your video advice and installed Kadence WP. After a few hours I have the site header looking exactly like I want it. Great advice!!!
I'm having issues with the mobile trigger. No matter what I do it just doesn't show the menu, it's blank. I reached out to the Kadence team and they replied the following day but their solution didn't work either.
I wish Kadence had a Starter website/pages templates for Elementor. The template I imported for Shopping Site is not optimal for editing with Elementor. I think I am gonna wait until they have something like that to start using the Theme ...
Everyone pls help, I tried looking everywhere in Google about something and couldn't find any helpful information I'm looking for a way to set sign-ups goal in my site with live tracking and refresh where it would display the total number of users who registered in my site so far with a percentage or progress bar Most articles and videos I came across talk about number of visitors and such, which is not what I'm looking for, also I want the tool to refresh automatically rather than me updating it manually Thank you
I would love a video some of comparing this to Astra. Been using Astra for a while now, and I am very hesitant about moving over to another theme... That being said I do see Kadence having some advantages over Astra and visa versa :)
Hi David. I've been moving my sites from Astra Pro to Kadence over the past month. For me, it's totally worth the change. I have a checklist of items I need to update after switching, and after doing a dozen sites it goes super fast now. One of the huge differences is support. My experience with Astra support was not great, even with the Pro version. With the Kadence theme, support has been superb.
@@TraciStyner thanks so much for the insight. For some reason I feel Astra is all about giving a user the tools to make a site you want. I have a feeling that kadence is more focused on giving more Integrations and other plugins like their Gutenberg blocks... By doing so would lock a site into there ecosystem. Support aside, what do you feel is the biggest difference?
@@dvsmiles I don't use the integrations with Kadence--the sites I work on don't need them. I'm able to control the look and feel of the site much better than with Astra. The header and footer layout tools are the best I've used. I can make a lot of site-wide changes with Kadence (free) that required Astra Pro (paid).
@@TraciStyner Hi Tracy, nice to see that you are happy with Kadence, I would like to ask you if you mainly use Gutenberg blocks or you use Elementor too, I like the idea of building with blocks, I am just a little bit confused about some stuff I normally do with Elementor such as long complex booking forms. I am Astra Pro user and I would need to extend my license in few months but Kadence looks the way to go :)
When changing to Kadence my menu doesnt work . Tried a fresh install Kadence only import demo and no menu. Only does this on chrome Tried Firefox ok and Opera okWhat am i doing wrong please
@@DonnaWhite94 I can see about getting a first year discount on that. Really their annual plan is dirt cheap as it is, but I may be able to squeeze a discount ;-)
@@WPCrafter oh no, no. Don't do that. You are right. I was thinking that it would be 25% off of $99 making it about $75 for the year. But you are right about the $99 for a year being so cheap. Looks like a good free theme with Woo capabilities. I use Flatsome and its $59 per site so if this has everything, making the switch soon (after some testing)
If you are worried, use staging first my friend. I've been doing it before. Base on my experience, the data like blog post and post image is ok. But, like I said, please use staging if you have doubt.
Simply switching themes doesn't do anything to the content you have on your website (assuming you are not using a page builder). A theme is mostly responsible for how your website looks (and sometimes works, too). But if you're still in doubt (or if you use a page builder), backup your website before switching.
I don't get it. I don't have kadence importer under tools menu. I even downloaded kadence theme again and reinstalled it. Still nothing and i only have the blue theme to choose from.
@@WPCrafter I was not aware of this detail, Adam, thanks for the feedback. I trust in your opinion and I will test Kadence. I left OceanWP since they joined freemius and I was using Hello Theme.

Sure if you are one of the 50k Elementor Pro customers :-), for the rest of us simpletons there are alternatives :-). Although I am not sure if I would want to use Elementor Pro or a page builder at all on an ecommerce website. Of course that is personal preference.
Hands down! 50% of my clients look for escort sites or agency sites. I used to have a huge load of work converting woocommerce to catalog mode only plus features. Used to take 30/45 days. Thanks for this tutorial. Its still looks a bit complicated to me. l am new to this. i know l should go over it to get better on this. How do l add my email autoresponder to this WPcrafter WordPress?
What about the e-commerce? Thank you
Hello,
I would like to ask one more thing. If Kadence Pro comes, will the features of the free theme disappear?
Nope, everything in the free version will always be free.
@@WPCrafter Thanks for replying! Glad that it will stay as it is!
Great video...Can we remove powered by Kadence wp on our website?
Yes, absolutely
Could you replace an icon from payments with other paymet gateway?
can I use divi with this theme?
I’m switching from Divi to Kadence and all of my blog posts have code under my feature image and at the very bottom of the post. Do I have to manually delete this or is there a setting I’m missing? Thanks!
Plz make a video using Kadence block pro plugin in kadence theme
Hello Adam,
As a Kadence Lifetime Member I can use Kadence Pro but I just want to ask that Does Genesis Framework and their child theme really improve Speed and SEO better than Other theme.. Honestly..
Nope, thats just marketing. Maybe 10 years ago when most WordPress themes sucked.
@@WPCrafter Thankyou
I tried to custom html for my amazon product. But it doesnot show. But I list 3 or more products,2 of them show. Why doesnot a single product show.
Can we substitute Astra with Kadence? I used to use Astra and Elementor together.
It looks like we totally can. I am really considering to switch from Astra to Kadence.
Yes its very easy and I showed how in a video some time back. Maybe I will make a dedicated video on it tomorrow since so many people have asked.
@@WPCrafter yes that would be awesome Adam, I think that will help us a lot to make a decision, I really want to try using blocks as you are saying it is the future for websites. Cheers and thanks for such an awesome videos.
If I deactivate Astra Pro and add Kadence, would that screw up my website? I seem to have header issues and Zadence seems so simple.
In my tutorial on Kadence I walk you thru switching.
Everyone pls help, I tried looking everywhere in Google about something and couldn't find any helpful information
I'm looking for a way to set sign-ups goal in my site with live tracking and refresh where it would display the total number of users who registered in my site so far with a percentage or progress bar
Most articles and videos I came across talk about number of visitors and such, which is not what I'm looking for, also I want the tool to refresh automatically rather than me updating it manually
Thank you
Would like to see hooks and a full-size hero option with arrow down feature
Wait but i thought u didnt need a theme with Elementor? U cna use it like a theme right??
That is correct with Elementor Pro IF you are going to use Elementor Pro to create your headers/footers, archive pages, 404 page, search page, etc.
Good tutorial but that header customizer for mobile doesn't worked well for me :(
Sorry to hear that. Have you reported it to the developer?
@@WPCrafter No sir I then switched to Astra and used elementor Pro for building Header.
This video title is very interesting, can you add subtitles? Thank you
Hi Adam, can u make a video on Converting Wordpress website to an Android app...
No lerandash integration ?
When changing to Kadence my menu doesnt work . Tried a fresh install Kadence only import demo and no menu. Only does this on chrome Tried Firefox ok and Opera okWhat am i doing wrong please
Adam, I can't get the coupon to work for the membership. Is it correct? Thanks!
I think it’s only for the lifetime one. We’re you trying it on the annual plan?
@@WPCrafter Yes. LOL That's why it has 100 in the code. I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking. Thanks for clarifying that for me.
I am thinking of going ahead and getting the lifetime at the $100 off. Thanks for the coupon for the lifetime. Really great.
@@WPCrafter I just bought the lifetime. I have been using their theme on several websites for the last month. Their free theme gave me many of the features I needed and usually can't get in any free theme unless I added a hundred plugins. (I know, I'm exaggerating. lol) I'm am looking forward to learning even more about their other themes and plugins. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE COUPON CODE. It is very appreciated.
Is this good for woocommerce? Or are there better themes for woo?
Looks like a good free theme with Woo capabilities. I use Flatsome and its $59 per site so if this has everything, making the switch soon (after some testing)
Is is possible to switch from Asta theme to Kadence theme without loosing an data (pages, post, Plugins, etc)?
As explained in the video, it's a separate download and the link is in the video description.
Downloaded zip not working
Last time I looked It was not at WordPress repository, do you know why?
It takes 6 months for approval. Crazy right ?! It will be there later this year.
@@WPCrafter
I was not aware of this detail, Adam, thanks for the feedback.
I trust in your opinion and I will test Kadence.
I left OceanWP since they joined freemius and I was using Hello Theme.
Themes comes! Themes goes. OceanWP looks invincible. Few .css and .js knowledge and you dont even need page builders.
It’s the slowest out of the box. Go test it for yourself. It’s 3X larger page sizes.
@@WPCrafter I'm trying to deal with Kadence. I've made over 100 sites/stores using oceanWP and it's cool. I need to give Kadence a chance. Congrats on your channel. You're great buddy;)
But cant all this be done in elementor pro - single product template?
Sure if you are one of the 50k Elementor Pro customers :-), for the rest of us simpletons there are alternatives :-). Although I am not sure if I would want to use Elementor Pro or a page builder at all on an ecommerce website. Of course that is personal preference.
does it support Arabic language?
i mean every right to left language?
Kadence shop is broken...
Is the code WPC100OFF working?
Yes it works for the lifetime membership.
Can't find a free theme called Kadence - just a company called Kadence that has two free Wordpress themes.
www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/
Hands down! 50% of my clients look for escort sites or agency sites. I used to have a huge load of work converting woocommerce to catalog mode only plus features. Used to take 30/45 days. I'm creating better catalogs using Kadence and way less hurdles. But I tend to avoid elementor. Please ppl... Learn a bit of .css and .js and you're good to go.
Can you elaborate. So you dont use pagebuilder?
Kadence is not entirely free since it requires Kadence blocks PRO at 59$ US a year
Nothing in Kadence Theme requires Kadence Blocks or Kadence Blocks Pro.
