Paolo's backing vocals/harmonies have improved. Before live I felt like he just kinda threw his voice where it goes but this I feel like he's conscious of the harmony.
Paolo and Matt sound so fucking good when they sing together. Also love when Corey and Matt scream together. I like that Corey did “Who of you will dare to sit in the throne, who of you will dare!?” It sounds more threatening when he does it.
Perhaps someone already said this but _The Hangar_ was the best move from the band! Live concerts whenever they please is the best treat we, metalheads, could wish for! A massive thank you to the band!
@@ptr_does_music7042 To be fair, nailing sweep picking in the first place is just doing it over and over again to a metronome until you can do it in your sleep so as long as the vocal phrasing isn't too complicated it isn't as hard as you'd think. Looks cool as fuck though lol
Having two vocalists sing the choruses in harmony live is genius. Most of the time cleans sound kind of weak live, but having three vocalists really helps a live show rather than one.

Got into these really early, maybe 2006. I was blown away with “kids” being able to play so well and Ascendancy is still a brilliant album. Saw them live quite a few times and now to me they are one of the all time greats. They aren’t even kids really, prob 7 years between us, but age means less hen you get older anyway. I have spine disease and nerve damage in my hands….I stuggle to play but trying to keep up playing with these dudes really helps.
This was honestly one of the strongest vocal performances by all 3 of them that I think we have ever seen. That section where corey was sweeping and screaming was absolutely savage.
Oh, I remember listening to Trivium in Sims game. I immediately sent my older brother to get me an album of theirs. Came back from the disc store bringing Ascendancy. That's when I started singing, screaming, playing the guitar and loving metal music even more. Many years later, the very same band is still my favourite, plus I play Matt's signature guitar. I just love them!

I’m so impressed with how relevant and successful this band continues to be with each year and each album. They get better and better as time goes on! I still remember being blown away by one of their music videos back on Head Bangers ball on MTV, thankful because that show introduced me to them!

Headbanging intro/pre-verse riff, heavy and mostly faster pace song, but also a slower and very catchy chorus, breakdown, parts that would make fans throw fist in the air and go "Hey...hey!!" rhythmically, solos from both guitar players and sick ones at that, harmonies...and of course, some of the best drumming around. This song has it all.

But man, their latest few albums have been amazing, with so many top tier tracks, they have settled into an amazing formula. This is tied with Abattoir as my favourite songs on the record! I am always impressed with how killer you guys sound live in a room. Similar to Mastodon, the combination of your instrumental proficiency and the multiple vocalists just blow me away.

It has a lot to do with the mix, too. A lot of those live festivals always seem to crank his mic up WAY too high in the mix.
