Surprise! Why the out-of-character Friday evening upload? Well, seeing as the Mazda2 Hybrid is a new, fresh car, I wanted to get the content out as soon as I could and to be honest, I would have liked to have got it done sooner, but life kinda got in the way....
Fuel consumption can be improved by keeping on the green eco and using B selector on the gear change when having to slow down, you will achieve an average of more than 70MPG
For goodness sake, the Mazda2 hatchback is the real alternative to the Fiesta, not that model. I have a Mazda2 hatchback and it is brilliant with a proper 4 cylinder 1.5 ltr engine. (No turbo)
From what I've seen, why do so many test drivers who are over 6 feet (it seems 75% are), get into the mini sized Mazda 2 and seem dissapointed by the head and leg room? It's just not the car for you! test drivers (maybe 75%)
Smoother with eCVT. Not really a comparison to the UP, different segment. Also depends if you have auto or manual. The UP GTi is a great little car but its nothing like the Mazda 2 hybrid.

So much better than before. It’s less ‘company car’ than the Toyota.

Cannot wait for your review of the Suzuki Swift 2WD and Allgrip
What a cracking looking car!
Hi Paul, thanks for watching and thanks for the comment.
I enjoyed watching the Video Review 😊
Well... one thing in its favour is, unlike Suzuki with the Swace, they didn't need to slap a badge on top of a badge on the rear of the car.
For goodness sake, the Mazda2 hatchback is the real alternative to the Fiesta, not that model.

Normal Mazda 2 the sky activ homura one looks better not sure why you would go for this spitting image of the Yaris, when toyota warranty is longer.
Hi Joe, thanks for watching. Yeah, I think the Mazda2 Hybrid is going to be a tough sale for many.
Currently Mazda are offering 0% finance. The main reason I'm considering this car

Could it be because there are other cars in the same class that offer more space? (SEAT Ibiza springs to mind).
Better than the Fiesta because it hasn’t got the terrible ecoboost engine with the wet cambelt ! Anything is better than that.
If I'm not mistaken, the newer Fiestas now use chains, not belts.
@@CarObsession I didnt know that, just checked and yes, the mild hybrid ecoboost is indeed a chain. Much better.
@@oddities-whatnot I think Ford finally learnt from their mistakes....
Way to expensive for a city car and awful auto box adds up to a boring car my volkswagon up is a better comparison and fun to drive.
The auto box isn't TOO bad - you want to try driving the new Hyundai i10 auto, the gearbox in that leaves a lot to be desired! Thanks for watching.
