You need to do an update to this... The Captain's Hat from Far Harbor replaces the Tricorner Hat, and now you can get the Harpoon Gun and the Fish Hook for your newest weapons.
In vault 118 theres a pirate hat tht i use now and i use the hook and harpoon too with the broadsider and sword but also i threw in a short double barrel shotgun and made it look like a flintlock
My thing is using broadsides and Hancock stuff in the Og game, but for DLC use the heavy armor deep diver gear and harpoon gun. It’s just a fun variety lol.
I have a great idea for a Fallout build.. Ladies and Gentlemen, i present to you: the Prankster. Spend all your points on Charisma. Pickpocket a lot, and dont pick any perks that make it easier, because you're supposed to suck at it (just like most prankers suck at being funny) Use pacify and intimidation whenever you get caught pickpocketing and scream ''ITS A PRANK BRO ITS A PRANK'' That's it, hope you enjoyed.
Here's the perk list for anyone who wants to copy and paste: S- 8 (book) P- 1 E- 5 C- 7 I- 5 A- 1 L- 1 2 Str +1 3 Big Leagues 4 Rooted 5 Fortune Finder 6 Fortune Finder 2 7 Big Leagues 2 8 Party Boy 9 Blacksmith 10 Aqua Boy 11 Armorer 12 Heavy Gunner 13 Heavy Gunner 2 14 Gun Nut 15 Big Leagues 3 16 Party Boy 2 17 Blacksmith 2 18 End +1 19 End +1 20 Int +1 21 Chem Resistant 22 Chem Resistant 2 23 Rooted 2 24 Armorer 2 25 Armorer 3 26 Heavy Gunner 3 27 Big Leagues 4 28 Chemist 29 Chemist 2 30 Fortune Finder 3 31 Cap Collector 32 Cap Collector 2 33 Chemist 3 34 Local Leader 35 Local Leader 2 36 Heavy Gunner 4 37 End +1 38 End +1 39 Armorer 4 40 Fortune Finder 4 41 Solar Powered 42 Big Leagues 5 43 Rooted 3 44 Adamantium 45 Chemist 4 46 Adamantium 2 47 Heavy Gunner 5 48 Adamantium 3 49 Cap Collector 3 50 Blacksmith 3
I feel that a short hunting rifle would fit in well, as it's quite reminiscent of a Flintlock, and the Minuteman General's hat feels like it could fit in with this.
I think it's amazing that you guys could come up with and make these builds in only 1 week. It truly shows how talented and creative you two are and I really love all the builds you make! Great job FudgeMuppet!
Now that the Automatron DLC is out, how about adding a small part to the builds that talks about having a custom robot companion. Assuming that the build could work with one, that is. Considering where you have to go and what you have to do in order to get the Broadsider, I can easily see the pirate build having a hook handed melee robot companion. Also, How about a Rust Devil build?
Hey everyone, I decided to make up another build and thought someone else might like it. Feel free to make any changes you want of course! Fudgemuppet dudes, I'd love to see your version of The Juggernaut! Keep up the great work guys, I'm really enjoying these builds. Juggernaut BACKSTORY The Juggernaut, was and is, in short a beast since childhood. Growing up, he had an older brother who constantly mocked him because he was not very smart. In school, he took this aggression out on everyone smaller than him. As he grew older, he grew angrier. He took up metal working classes, and learned not only was he great at this, he enjoyed using a sledgehammer. He worked very hard to be bigger and tougher, and joined a fight club where he learned to take a hit and deal it back. After school he quickly joined the military, and found himself learning to use a variety of weapons and armors, such as the minigun, and a shotgun. While in the army, his temper got the best of him. He was gaining quite the reputation as someone you want at your back in a fight, but punched out a Commanding Officer who he disliked. A lawyer, Nora, was assigned to his case and due to his service, and the support of his fellow soldiers, he was allowed to stay in service but had to go through therapy. To thank the lawyer, whom he found incredibly attractive, he took her out to dinner. This turned into more dinners, and drinks, and eventually Nora getting pregnant. They married, and came to the juggernaut's home town, to raise their son Shaun. When the bombs fell, all of the Juggernaut's anger comes back, and he takes an active stance fighting anyone who starts a problem. Through this, he becomes acquainted with various factions. He doesn't care about any of the factions, or the people but feels the need to find his son and will do whatever it takes to do that SPECIAL (USE SPECIAL BOOK +1 END and GET PER. +Marck Blanchard Bond is kind of like a mercenary. An agent vs a merc. A merc could use any weapon too. Maybe we could get an automatic weapon build with the merc?
How would an Isaac Clarke/Engineer-based build sound to you guys? Granted, I haven't watched your Scavenger or Mechanist builds thoroughly yet, but I think an intelligent yet versatile character like Isaac is portrayed across the Dead Space games would go well with some Fallout 4 aspects, such as his large of weapons (pistols, rifles, flamethrowers, etc.) and his big focus on hacking and sneaking (due to Necromorph ambushes. I know you don't exactly sneak in Dead Space, but he'd be better at it in this game). He could use the Hazmat Suit as an outfit. These are just suggestions, though; you guys can take an Isaac Clarke build in whatever direction you see would fit the character while also being fun/interesting to play.
Great build. It would be interesting if you would create a behind the scenes video one time, showcasing your process. Do you use an excel sheet for the perk choices for example, or do you discuss the details of every build together or not. What does your workstation look like, that type of stuff.
If you want extra fun, build a flintlock pistol. Basically a hunting rifle with a short stock, short barrel, standard scope and magazine(that's the closest I could get.)
Great build! I'm currently blasting and sneaking through the game with variations on the Fudgemuppet Silver Shroud and Mechanist builds. This will have to be added to the list. It looks like a lot of fun! For your next build, I'd be excited to see either one or two things: -something like a Wasteland Tarzan who could make judicious use of the animal/human pacification perks and a more feral combat style. Seems like that would be fun with the new DLC coming out.-A build based entirely around designing and improving functioning settlements, like some sort of civil engineer/architect who wants to rapidly improve the Wasteland's quality of life.
+Sam Daley preWar cop build? Coursers in Bethesda's words were inspired by Agents from Matrix and Terminator. It's time to show this scum a might of law with a mix of Robocop, Dredd and Punisher. Bring down all those mad scientists, anarchists and militaristic invaders with the help of Minutemen!
Michael and Scott from FudgeMuppet you should do one of the five builds below 1)The Simpleton (Like the one in New Vegas) 2)The Ghoul (He thinks he is a ghoul, but he's really not, duh) 3)The Thug/Thief (Exactly like he/she sounds) 4) The Mercenary (High Charisma and Perception that uses it for completing quests and earning a lot of caps for doing it) 5) The Lone Wanderer (Use the Lone Wanderer perk and does a lot of damage in many different ways) Thank you for considering these builds!
Now 3 years later. 1 - Swatter (sort of) 2 - Radman. 3 - Theif. 4 - Ranger. (Change role-playing a little) 5 - Mad Max. Either you can predict the future or your luck stat is 10.
Build idea: Postman Pat Uses a variety of heavy weapons to destroy his targets and will want to kill everything he sees. You will want to attack and kill everyone in Diamond City as soon as you can. You will wear Postman Uniform (Ballistic Weave) and Hat and your companion will be either Dogmeat, who you will pretend is a cat called Jess, or use a custom robot made in the Automatron DLC. These are the best companion choices for this build as they will not judge you for your actions. Your playstyle includes Heavy Guns and Large Melee Weapons, like the Super Sledge, and you will be using drugs VERY often. Also carry around a knife of any other stealth weapon if you want to be sneaky. S.P.E.C.I.A.L Stats Strength 10 Perception 1 Endurance 3 (4 with special book) Charisma 1 Intelligence 8 Agility 4 Luck 1 I highly recommend upgrading Endurance as you level up. Main Perks: Big Leagues, Heavy Gunner, Gun Nut, Blacksmith, Armourer, Chemist, Chem Resistant, Sneak, Blitz, Rooted. Other Perks: Maybe Cannibal as your Endurance gets better, and Science and Robotics Expert if you have the Automatron DLC. Thanks for reading my Postman Pat build guide. Please like and make sure FudgeMuppet see the so they can make a video about it.
My pirate backstory was that he used to love listening to pirate-themed radio dramas and would often do so to relax and destress even in the military. When the events in Vaul 111 happened he wasn't perfectly refrozen after Shaun's kidnapping. His faintest conscious thoughts coped by thinking about pirate dramas. By the time he finally thawed, these background thoughts had replaced his personality to a large extent and he now firmly believes he is in fact a historical pirate.
We need a radiation/child of Atom-esque build, mainly because I'm tired of you guys saying we don't care about the radiation aspect of nuclear physicist!
+TheNewGuy5271 Pirates were around during the age of muskets and cap, ball & powder weaponry as far as ballistics went, so a 'musket' type weapon would be akin to the fantasy of a Pirate.
Just had a genius build idea! The Courser: As Ayo said Coursers are put through rigorous training and are far more tough, strong and agile than most humans, so Stats should represent that, even though he is human. As well as average to higher average intelligence. I'd suggest a highly skilled military operative for backstory.
This might sound weird, and you've already done a psychopathic character, but can you do a build based on the character of the Fens Phantom (I think that's the name)
I really like the elaborate backstories you guys bring to your builds. I think Fallout 4 forced to much of their character into the prologue, limiting role playing possibilities. You guys have been showing me how to make the character I want to play fit into Bethesda's framework. Thanks for that.
Aye, don't forget your nautical terms, but the stereotypical "pirate speak" is a Hollywood myth you should throw off the starboard bow (the front of the right). BTW, the Striker is like a retrievable bowling ball cannon whose "bowling ball cannon" can be crafted onto the Big Boy for infinite bowling ball cannonballs. What's a starboard? Right side of the ship. Why? "It's because all starfish are right-handed..." -Gulliver, _Animal Crossing_ series My version of the pirate: instead of Solar Powered, get + 1 Endurance, collect the bobblehead, & get everything else a level late. Thus, my pirate build is technically a level 51 build (50 if you don't count blacksmith 3). Either way, he'll have a little more health than otherwise, and getting the other 2 ranks of Solar Powered would definitely help him out.
The Trader: Uses high strength and charisma to carry and sell lots of things, intelligence for nuclear physicist since he increases his carry weight by using power armor. S: 6 (Since power armor brings us up to 11 and we need heavy gunner, big leagues and strong back) P:1 E:1 C:6 (For prices, should 10 by end of game) I:9 (nuclear physicist) A:2 (commando) L: 2 (scrounger) uses both melee and automatic guns, by end game should have 10 str and chr and 9 agi. We're going to try and get blitz and also intimidation by end game.
I like this build, and I'm seeing a bit of the Minuteman General build in here as well so anybody who enjoyed the General build should like this one quite a lot as well for a more wild take on the concept. As always, here's some recommendations I can make for tweaking this build: 1) One weapon that fits the aesthetic of this build rather well is the Laser Musket, particularly if fitted with one of the shorter, non-extended barrels and a Beam Splitter to turn it into a sort-of Laser Blunderbuss. However, to get the most out of it requires quite a hefty investment: Science 3 to upgrade it completely (unless you use the legendary automatic one that can be obtained as part of the main storyline), plus one point in Gun Nut if you want to put a stock on it. In order to raise the damage to a useful level for the later parts of the game, you'd also need to invest in the Rifleman perk (or Commando for the legendary automatic one), which might make it a better option for after one reaches level 50, or as an alternative to the Broadsider early on as Fusion Cells are FAR, FAR more common than Cannonballs. If you're willing to sacrifice a few perks, the Laser Musket can still be used as a viable secondary ranged weapon later in the game. 2) If you DO decide to use a Laser Musket, or for just another way to make caps, invest one point in Luck and get the Scrounger perk, which imho is a lot more useful than Fortune Finder as ammunition is weightless (outside of survival) and can be used OR sold for caps. With the final rank in Scrounger, you gain a chance of getting a free magazine's worth of ammunition whenever you reload an empty gun...which is before every single shot with the Laser Musket, making it trivially easy to keep it supplied with ammunition later on. 3) Other options for melee weapons on this build are of course any of the other swords, such as the Chinese Officer Sword, Shishkebab, and Assaultron Blade from the Automatron DLC. Of these I feel that the Shishkebab is probably the best option to use as a backup weapon to the Shem Drowne Sword for use against enemies with high damage resistance but lower energy damage resistance. Note however that this build doesn't get Blacksmith 3 until level 50, meaning that the weapon's potential will be limited until then unless you swap a perk with it to get Blacksmith 3 sooner and the perk you swapped it with later. 4) The Stun upgrades on your Shem Drowne Sword, Chinese Officer Sword, and the Assaultron Blade require a single perk point to be invested in Science. It's not really REQUIRED but it DOES help to mitigate the AI spamming blocks against your melee attacks once they've been disarmed by the Big League's perk, so consider investing a point in Science after level 50. This also has the additional benefit of allowing one to build certain things at settlements like industrial water purifiers and terminals. 5) The Shem Drowne Sword deals radiation damage as its legendary effect, so it would be a good idea to hit the books to raise intelligence up to 9 and then invest in the Nuclear Physicist perk (a perk that is usually obtained to make fusion cores last longer in Power Armor, but it also increases radiation damage from various weapons with that effect), making the Shem Drowne Sword a truly devastating weapon against human adversaries. 6) Use lots of Molotov Cocktails. A guy who drinks as much as the Pirate does has a lot of spare bottles lying around so why not turn them into incendiary bombs? Of course it might help to invest in Perception to get Demolitions Expert to not only increase the damage they deal but also allow one to make them at crafting stations (although they're so common in areas populated by Raiders and Super Mutants that you'll probably never need to make any). 7) It might be a good idea to get the legendary Chinese Officer Sword known as General Chao's Revenge before starting the Automatron DLC questline, should you have it (especially since this build obviously doesn't make use of the Robotics Expert perk, which basically lets you cheese your way through the entire DLC) 8) This is more for roleplaying early on, but early in your playthrough, one idea that could be fun would be to carry a shit-ton of pipe pistols to use in firefights, and then when one runs out of ammo in its magazine, immediately throw it away and swap to the next one (simulating a common practice among pirates in the 17th and 18th Centuries of carrying multiple pistols into combat and tossing them away after firing them as it would simply take too long to reload them to be worth it in the heat of combat). 9) For a more romantically-minded Pirate, the Lady Killer perk can be useful, mostly for roleplaying purposes as its benefits in combat are rather minor considering how much rarer hostile female characters are than males. If your pirate happens to be female, on the other hand (perhaps they take after Anne Bonny and/or Mary Read for inspiration, and it works for romance regardless of your choice of companion too as Cait's dialogue makes it clear that she's bisexual, and Hancock's...well, Hancock), the bonus to damage in combat could be more useful.
Also the new weapons I have displayed are from the Far Harbor DLC and I did choose Reba II for the extra damage against Milurks and how you can make it look like a flintlock pistol
Actually, ive found i like using that setup because of the whole "rogue admiral" look. Kind of like a (for those who play current MTG) Beckett Brass or a (for those who know One Piece) Sulaiman the Beheader look.
Make one of "Mr. Fries" (from batman) it is absolutely do able. Power armor with rap-around goggles(like mr freeze), your wife's name is Nora (so is mr. Freeze's), cryogenically frozen, wife is on ice(if you close the cryo-pod), cryolater, cryo bomb, freezing effect on legendary weapons, must I go on?!? I really want this to happen and be done well, I really think you guys could do it wonderfully. Ps. He may be a scientist, but mr. Fries is vengeful and a good person at heart so I think he would ultimately choose the minute men (in the end). He'd pretty much ignore every other faction except the ones he needs to get his revenge.
The only true problem I see with that, as awesome as it is, is that Ammo for the Cryolater is very limited. Also, I feel like he would join the Institute in hopes of finding a cure.
This is a very underrated build one of the best I played and if you don't really dig the pirate aesthetic you can make a minutemen general build out of it very easily
2 things: 1: maybe the pirate could also use a laser musket 2: could someone make a regular musket mod? Or if one already exists can someone link it too me? Please respond?
If you're looking for alt weapons for this build, a short hunting rifle, bolt action pipe pistol, and a hooked pipe wrench (preferably Big Jim legendary in Walden Pond)
You guys at FudgeMuppet are great! I expected this Fallout 4 build series to be a disappointed in the RPing aspect as the Sole Survivor's backstory is more set in place than the Courier or the Dragonborn; And the fact that it's harder to play an evil character in Fallout 4. Once again you guys go above and beyond expectations with amazing content. Keep up the good work, mateys! Arrrg!
In my opinion a build I would enjoy to see and im pretty sure ours will see is The pre-war solier. This guy is always tough and never takes no for an answer. He joins the brotherhood and railroad.Has high strength and high carisma maybe high endurence. He also really lkes to have piper as a companion and dosent like being alone. Has power armor on and off. Also uses combat armor.
Hey fudgemuppet, love the builds ;) but I feel like there isn't a very detailed explanation of how to get the gear or weapons so when I try to test out a build, I feel kinda lost. I could just be blind af and if so pls someone tell me!!
Some Builds I Think We ALL Want To See (Plus a few added ideas): Child Of Atom Build (Huge radiation buffs/resistance, Gamma Gun, robes) Vault Dweller/First In The Vault Dweller Descendant Build (Vault Jumpsuit+Leather Armor, 10mm) **EDIT** [By Enclave, I Mean More Like Frank Horrigan Rather Than A Solider] Enclave Remnants Build (X-01,Plasma, Radiation Resist) Rust Devil Build (Robots, Pipe Weapons, Robot Armour) Hero Of Diamond City Build (Bat, Pipe Rifle, DC Guard Uniform [The backstory writes itself here]) Synth Courser Build (Courser Armor, Stealth Boys) Junkie Build (Chems, Chemist, Legendary Weapons) (Just A Few Idea's Me And A Few Friends Have Been Wanting To See On Your Channel For Quite Some Time) Sorry For Spelling!
One glaring issue with this build is no Demolitions Expert. Broadsider is effected by both heavy guns AND Demo expert, for a massive damage increase. I'd suggest dropping some perks to get it if you want to maximize your broadsider. If you drop the settlement junk (I don't see a pirate settling down), you can grab this.
Jack of All Trades Build: All starting SPECIAL stats at 4. SPECIAL book will go into Luck for Idiot Savant. Perks'll be Armorer, Locksmith, Demolition Expert (after the meeting Preston quest at the beginning of the game boosting you to 5 Perception), Chem Resistant, Lone Wanderer, Medic, Gun Nut, Hacker, Sneak, Mr. Sandman, Scrounger, Bloody Mess, and Idiot Savant. You'll also pick up Gunslinger/Rifleman/Commando, whichever playstyle you like the most although I'd recommend Rifleman personally. Ending SPECIAL will be 5/5/5/5/5/5/6.
This build makes me realize just how little variation there is for heavy weapons, especially when compared to Fallout 3. I miss the heavy incinerator, the plasma cannon, and especially the Tesla cannon.
Ficking finally guys, I love you so much for all the builds. People, if you could be kind enough to like my comment so that Scott and Michael can see the love. YHARRRRRRR *Pirate of The Caribbean song*
+THEOTHERGUYNATION if u think about it, fudgemuppet have made builds similar to each other like the hunter and sniper, the general and pirate build etc. soo Punisher sounds like a great opposite of the commando
+THEOTHERGUYNATION throw in some reigns on it, mix it with a bit of Robocop and Dredd and show all those scum(except for Minutemen whom will be your police force) the might of preWar law.
Just finished my first playthrough as i dont have masses of time to play, using this character build. Had a lot of fun in the last two fights with the minutemen and the Broadsider is so much fun, Had to use a missile launcher a fair bit too. But would recommend this for a fun build. ALSO GET PLENTY OF BRAHMAN TO MAKE JET DRUGS AND EXPLOSIONS
Goddamn it Michael, I'm only level 12-ish right now on the Commando build! Tell Scott that you both are taking an extended break, at least three weeks. Until then, no more builds-I-can't-resist!
Fudget.... can i cask something? i mean, this is one of the most enjoyable build i have play, especially since i like being sturdy, persuasive and look cool, but broadsider ammo have being a pain in my back, so i started to use Admiral friend, and it kinda go with the build but what i wanna ask is..... WILL U UPDATE THIS AFTER NUKA WORLD TO HAVE MY VERY OWN PIRATE CREW?
i did it by myself.. so of course piretes are all about money and being a bunch of assholes BUT.... they dont have to be merciless, so i join forces with the furries and the ties... money and violence to the pirate is fun and goes pretty well with the melee/heavy playstyle
a mad max build would be pretty cool. Especially considering that it's the progenitor of a lot of the post apocalyptic aesthetic and how many references already exist to it in the game.Only drawback is that there are no cars.
Detective build with Nick Valentine! We need a crime fighting duo to protect the commonwealth! Maybe they can also star in the first TV cop drama since the bombs fell.
I should play this game again. Want to meet a Behemoth. I played it a lot when I bought it, but never met one, I had explored a lot of the map. This build seems like fun.
i have an idea for a fun build: the atom cat! his/her primary source of damage is unarmed, and for that reason uses power armor with unarmed modifications. he/she of course starts with high strength & charisma, and party boy/girl is a very important perk. and because of the high charisma, nuclear physicist isnt REQUIRED bc of cheap fusion cores. Luck is also pretty important bc of idiot savant, and bc you need luck 5 you might as well invest more in it. Zeke's jacket should be in the pants & torso slot and something like the pompadour wig and the black rim glasses for the head. You can do the rest :) .
Hunters long coat + the captain's hat both from the Far Harbor DLC work extremely well for this build and the long coat has a base 40 damage resistance on it. I just started this build last night but ran to the dlc at level 2 so i could get the coat and fishing hook instead of the sword.
I would love this build. But lets face it. Hannibal Lector in Silence of the Lambs has like 9 strength at least, 9 perception, 8 endurance, 10 charisma, 10 intelligence, 6-7 agility, and 7-8 luck
Gotta love the mental image of the Pirate readying his launcher for unloading on a large group of approaching supermutants, from a perch, just humming merrily/drunkenly to himself: "hmm-mmm-hmm-hmm... and really bad eggs... drink up, me hearties, YO HO!"
Demolition expert who's obsessed with everything explosions. Doesn't bother using guns and is a crazy artillery expert in his military days before he got a dishonorable discharge for blowing up the cafeteria. DO HIM NEXT PLEASE
By the way, i just wanted to say that you guys are awsome, by far the best bethesda channel out there, and i hope you keep up thr good work. Anyway, i was thinking of a payday 2 build, a build thats all about moneymaking, and making a name for himself, whos skilled in all scenarios, wheter thats lockpicking, hacking, heaps of criticals and explosives. Once again, i love you guys.
You should make a Punisher build. He uses all types of weapons, utilizes stealth, and never takes prisoners. He has high Intelligence to mod all of his weapons, high Perception and Agility to eliminate his targets, but has low Charisma because he doesn't need to persuade people. Most of his other stats are decent. There's the basic Punisher build. (Its also the one i use rn)
For extra roleplaying, play on a pirated copy of fallout.
Savage
that's legit pirate man
+Youngerhampster Oooh Shit lol
Damn savage
+Youngerhampster Pireta as fuck
You need to do an update to this... The Captain's Hat from Far Harbor replaces the Tricorner Hat, and now you can get the Harpoon Gun and the Fish Hook for your newest weapons.
In vault 118 theres a pirate hat tht i use now and i use the hook and harpoon too with the broadsider and sword but also i threw in a short double barrel shotgun and made it look like a flintlock
yea and i kinda thought what if you used a ballistic weave courser uniform it looks like a pirate coat and has better armor
and for your companion i was thinking the minut mans genrals uniform
My thing is using broadsides and Hancock stuff in the Og game, but for DLC use the heavy armor deep diver gear and harpoon gun. It’s just a fun variety lol.
Coastal armor looks good as well honestly
Yargh! there be a settlement that needs yer help! There, X marks it on ye map! - Cpt Garvey of the SS Rainfall
.......
That is perfect
so... BEAUTIFUL...
just like Shakespeare...
only better...
'SS Rainfall'
I'm done. You got me.
You forgot the "babe"
You've made a Raider build and a Tinkerer build... Combine the two and make a Rust Devil build!
Perfect!
actually been thinking about making a build like that myself
YESSS!
That would be awesome
That would be badass
I have a great idea for a Fallout build..
Ladies and Gentlemen, i present to you: the Prankster.
Spend all your points on Charisma.
Pickpocket a lot, and dont pick any perks that make it easier, because you're supposed to suck at it (just like most prankers suck at being funny)
Use pacify and intimidation whenever you get caught pickpocketing and scream ''ITS A PRANK BRO ITS A PRANK''
That's it, hope you enjoyed.
lol
Cody Brians i love you too
+Clemens Hoste nah, get the perk that let's you put grenades in people's pockets
Fletcher McCrady ya lol and when it explodes and they get mad, scream "CHILL BRO THE CAMERA IS RIGHT THERE BRO" at the top of your lungs
+Clemens Hoste omg yes!

The light among the darkness.
Thanks a ton, mate!
You are true hero and never forget it.
I feel that a short hunting rifle would fit in well, as it's quite reminiscent of a Flintlock, and the Minuteman General's hat feels like it could fit in with this.
I love how you called him Edward Thatch
One thing I thought was also good as a weapon is Molotov cocktails. they were used by pirates while plundring villages.
I think it's amazing that you guys could come up with and make these builds in only 1 week. It truly shows how talented and creative you two are and I really love all the builds you make! Great job FudgeMuppet!
Idk why, but I feel this build. I just feel it. And the backstory and role play of this particular build make F4 feel so adventurous. Dang good video
The "news reporter" style reading of his script cracks me up. It makes the role-play part sound like an obituary xD
The Athlete
Swatters, grenades, drugs(lore accurate), and of course the baseball uniform!

Rust devil build yes, also you can use the eyebot pods to find cannonballs
Hey everyone, I decided to make up another build and thought someone else might like it. Feel free to make any changes you want of course! Fudgemuppet dudes, I'd love to see your version of The Juggernaut! Keep up the great work guys, I'm really enjoying these builds.
Juggernaut
BACKSTORY
The Juggernaut, was and is, in short a beast since childhood. He doesn't care about any of the factions, or the people but feels the need to find his son and will do whatever it takes to do that

Do a f*cking mercanary/ bountyhunter now!!!!
YES
Combat armor, road leathers, combat rifle, mid-high Charisma, sides with the Institute(?), Medic, Lockpicking, Hacker, and Lone Wandere are necessary perks.
+Adam Short that was just like the bond build except different clothing and faction
+Marck Blanchard Bond is kind of like a mercenary. An agent vs a merc. A merc could use any weapon too. Maybe we could get an automatic weapon build with the merc?
Adam Short I would say use kellogs cloths with a bolt action rifle, or a revolver
Can you make a Somali pirate build now?
YES
I am the Captain of this ship now.
+Alex Quibodeaux Basically the same build, except you keep picking fights you can't win.
+Alex Quibodeaux How about a Martian invader build?
Sounds dumber than a pirate in my opinion...
+RaccoonManGamer No Al Qaeda (Captain Phillips Reference)
I just looked up who Edward Thatch is -- nicely done, matey!
Courser build?
Yes
This guy is on it ^
+harry wilson Uses Stealth & Institute Weapons
I've made one that has high agility and endurance, uses institute weapons and stealth boys
you got your wish hooray
Great build! I'm currently blasting and sneaking through the game with variations on the Fudgemuppet Silver Shroud and Mechanist builds. This will have to be added to the list. It looks like a lot of fun!
For your next build, I'd be excited to see either one or two things:
-something like a Wasteland Tarzan who could make judicious use of the animal/human pacification perks and a more feral combat style. Seems like that would be fun with the new DLC coming out.-A build based entirely around designing and improving functioning settlements, like some sort of civil engineer/architect who wants to rapidly improve the Wasteland's quality of life.
Detective build
yas
+Sam Daley
my thoughts exactly.
Dump everything into CHR and PER
+Necromaster2077 I and L too
+Sam Daley
preWar cop build? Coursers in Bethesda's words were inspired by Agents from Matrix and Terminator. It's time to show this scum a might of law with a mix of Robocop, Dredd and Punisher. Bring down all those mad scientists, anarchists and militaristic invaders with the help of Minutemen!
Michael and Scott from FudgeMuppet you should do one of the five builds below
1)The Simpleton (Like the one in New Vegas)
2)The Ghoul (He thinks he is a ghoul, but he's really not, duh)
3)The Thug/Thief (Exactly like he/she sounds)
4) The Mercenary (High Charisma and Perception that uses it for completing quests and earning a lot of caps for doing it)
5) The Lone Wanderer (Use the Lone Wanderer perk and does a lot of damage in many different ways)
Thank you for considering these builds!
Now 3 years later.
1 - Swatter (sort of)
2 - Radman.
3 - Theif.
4 - Ranger. (Change role-playing a little)
5 - Mad Max.
Either you can predict the future or your luck stat is 10.
Build idea: Postman Pat
Uses a variety of heavy weapons to destroy his targets and will want to kill everything he sees.
S.P.E.C.I.A.L Stats
Strength 10
Perception 1
Endurance 3 (4 with special book)
Charisma 1
Intelligence 8
Agility 4
Luck 1
I highly recommend upgrading Endurance as you level up.
Someone had a rough childhood...
+Mr. Kippy what about a no tech build? i'm thinking a native american style.
+Mr. Kippy or post man that send death with the DELIVERER
vincent solomon YES! Great idea m80.
General Kobi You have no idea.
I haven't been waiting for it ... but happy to look at what you enjoy doing.
just saying I would have gave him a lazer musket as well
may I ask why the laser musket?
+TheNewGuy5271 Pirates were around during the age of muskets and cap, ball & powder weaponry as far as ballistics went, so a 'musket' type weapon would be akin to the fantasy of a Pirate.
+TheNewGuy5271 guesing cause pirates are often saw along flintlock pistols and rifles so it the close thing to it i guess
yas
+David Lenardson What if someone made mod for a laser musket pistol?? Or a Flintlock Pistol!!!
Just had a genius build idea! The Courser: As Ayo said Coursers are put through rigorous training and are far more tough, strong and agile than most humans, so Stats should represent that, even though he is human. As well as average to higher average intelligence. I'd suggest a highly skilled military operative for backstory.
This, the James Bond and Santa Clause builds are my favorites.
Do a Mr. Freeze build next.
This might sound weird, and you've already done a psychopathic character, but can you do a build based on the character of the Fens Phantom (I think that's the name)
Yes
Please do this
YES
Post this on a newer video.
3:43 the build is so powerful, he can jump through rope...
this is the best build ever.
The reason why it's cool to have fortune finder for pirate is that caps are like coins and they fly all over him.
Why? "It's because all starfish are right-handed..." -Gulliver, _Animal Crossing_ series
My version of the pirate: instead of Solar Powered, get + 1 Endurance, collect the bobblehead, & get everything else a level late.
S: 6 (Since power armor brings us up to 11 and we need heavy gunner, big leagues and strong back)
P:1
E:1
C:6 (For prices, should 10 by end of game)
I:9 (nuclear physicist)
A:2 (commando)
L: 2 (scrounger)
uses both melee and automatic guns, by end game should have 10 str and chr and 9 agi. We're going to try and get blitz and also intimidation by end game.
I like this build, and I'm seeing a bit of the Minuteman General build in here as well so anybody who enjoyed the General build should like this one quite a lot as well for a more wild take on the concept. As always, here's some recommendations I can make for tweaking this build:
1) One weapon that fits the aesthetic of this build rather well is the Laser Musket, particularly if fitted with one of the shorter, non-extended barrels and a Beam Splitter to turn it into a sort-of Laser Blunderbuss.
7) It might be a good idea to get the legendary Chinese Officer Sword known as General Chao's Revenge before starting the Automatron DLC questline, should you have it (especially since this build obviously doesn't make use of the Robotics Expert perk, which basically lets you cheese your way through the entire DLC)
8) This is more for roleplaying early on, but early in your playthrough, one idea that could be fun would be to carry a shit-ton of pipe pistols to use in firefights, and then when one runs out of ammo in its magazine, immediately throw it away and swap to the next one (simulating a common practice among pirates in the 17th and 18th Centuries of carrying multiple pistols into combat and tossing them away after firing them as it would simply take too long to reload them to be worth it in the heat of combat).
9) For a more romantically-minded Pirate, the Lady Killer perk can be useful, mostly for roleplaying purposes as its benefits in combat are rather minor considering how much rarer hostile female characters are than males. If your pirate happens to be female, on the other hand (perhaps they take after Anne Bonny and/or Mary Read for inspiration, and it works for romance regardless of your choice of companion too as Cait's dialogue makes it clear that she's bisexual, and Hancock's...well, Hancock), the bonus to damage in combat could be more useful.
spectacle island would be a great place for him and his crew :V
+Aljade SaberStone Or Kingsport Lighthouse.
Or the castle
Weapons for the pirate buld:
• Broadside
• Shem Drowne
• Reba II
• Admiral's Friend
• Blood letter
• Butcher's Hook
• Molotov Cocktails
Why throw rum when you can drink rum.
Also the new weapons I have displayed are from the Far Harbor DLC and I did choose Reba II for the extra damage against Milurks and how you can make it look like a flintlock pistol
for hancock you could give him the lieutenant hat and minute men general coat
thx m8
If you have the far harbour dlc then there's a special hat you can use instead of hancocks.
Yup, its literally called the pirates hat
Actually, ive found i like using that setup because of the whole "rogue admiral" look. Kind of like a (for those who play current MTG) Beckett Brass or a (for those who know One Piece) Sulaiman the Beheader look.
I'm really disappointed that with all that backstory you didn't get 1 rank of lady killer/ black widow (if your female pirate)
For those who liked New Vegas, create an NCR Ranger build!
I use this build as a "Far Harbourman" build and it works wonders. Kudos!
+Hunter Hagen Hah. "Mr. Fries", eh? XD
This is a very underrated build one of the best I played and if you don't really dig the pirate aesthetic you can make a minutemen general build out of it very easily
2 things:
1: maybe the pirate could also use a laser musket
2: could someone make a regular musket mod? Or if one already exists can someone link it too me? Please respond?
If you're looking for alt weapons for this build, a short hunting rifle, bolt action pipe pistol, and a hooked pipe wrench (preferably Big Jim legendary in Walden Pond)
I think the regular musket would be cool. But I can somewhat see a combat rifle or a hunting rifle filling that role.
Arrrg!
Next up is a Merc or Courser
This and the pyromaniac build are your best Fallout 4 builds to date
The Beastmaster
Lots of Charisma for the beast taming perk
I think the diplomat build is that build
Perfect for the Wasteland Workshop dlc 😉
+Christian J. Dont know.Didnt chrck it out before, will do now.
+Daniel Pryor we always have links in the description to guides we made on how to get the gear :D
+FudgeMuppet the description... Lol I AM blind, thanks :)
+FudgeMuppet make detective build or thief build
+FudgeMuppet the big Jim with the hook mod is a very good weapon to use early on as the pirate
Some Builds I Think We ALL Want To See (Plus a few added ideas):
Child Of Atom Build (Huge radiation buffs/resistance, Gamma Gun, robes)
Vault Dweller/First In The Vault Dweller Descendant Build (Vault Jumpsuit+Leather Armor, 10mm)
**EDIT** [By Enclave, I Mean More Like Frank Horrigan Rather Than A Solider] Enclave Remnants Build (X-01,Plasma, Radiation Resist)
Rust Devil Build (Robots, Pipe Weapons, Robot Armour)
Hero Of Diamond City Build (Bat, Pipe Rifle, DC Guard Uniform [The backstory writes itself here])
Synth Courser Build (Courser Armor, Stealth Boys)
Junkie Build (Chems, Chemist, Legendary Weapons)
(Just A Few Idea's Me And A Few Friends Have Been Wanting To See On Your Channel For Quite Some Time)
Sorry For Spelling!
Vault-Boy build!
I'm making my character look like Jack Sparrow
Erin Cain "People aren't cargo, mate."
A detective build would be awesome.
+Jack Leavy see their Silver Shroud build mate. Thats pretty much exactly what it is.
+Jack Leavy see their Silver Shroud build mate. Thats pretty much exactly what it is.
The hat Iron Sides gives with the general outfit looks good too.
Ceaser and Ncr builds please
This build makes me realize just how little variation there is for heavy weapons, especially when compared to Fallout 3. I miss the heavy incinerator, the plasma cannon, and especially the Tesla cannon.
Ficking finally guys, I love you so much for all the builds. People, if you could be kind enough to like my comment so that Scott and Michael can see the love. YHARRRRRRR *Pirate of The Caribbean song*
Solid build with all DLC. The far harbor captain or Nuka world wasteland conqueror type of play works great.
You should do a punisher build from daredevil season 2
I love how you named him Edward Thatch! Greatest pirate to sail the seven seas. :D
But we all know the real greatest pirate is captain Jack Sparrow
Time to make the mafia build
Definitely. He can have the suspenders and use submachine and bat.
Or a nice suit, a submachinegun and a switchblade.
"Raise the flag, and let's set sail! Under the sign of the Storm of Ale. Rum, beer, quests, and mead. These are the things that a pirate needs."
What about a punisher build
yes
Jordan Wight It would be pretty similar to the commando but different weapons and morals and different faction
+THEOTHERGUYNATION if u think about it, fudgemuppet have made builds similar to each other like the hunter and sniper, the general and pirate build etc. soo Punisher sounds like a great opposite of the commando
+THEOTHERGUYNATION
throw in some reigns on it, mix it with a bit of Robocop and Dredd and show all those scum(except for Minutemen whom will be your police force) the might of preWar law.
they don't do Characters unfortunately. that's why they haven't done a Mad Max build.
Just finished my first playthrough as i dont have masses of time to play, using this character build. Had a lot of fun in the last two fights with the minutemen and the Broadsider is so much fun, Had to use a missile launcher a fair bit too. But would recommend this for a fun build. ALSO GET PLENTY OF BRAHMAN TO MAKE JET
DRUGS AND EXPLOSIONS
Please Do the Mechromancer from Borderlands with Automatron it would be perfect
What perks would go with it? I can't find any that goes with her Anarchy skill. So how would you make a build out of that?
marquell thomas I dont know thats why im asking these guys to figure something out LOL
Oh.
marquell thomas They know more about the game mechanics and what not than i maybe they can come up with a group of Perks that would feel like Anarchy
+Kirt “TheDefiantPirate” Gartner The Tinkerer gets pretty close to what a Mechromancer in FO4 would be.
This comment has me very confused.
+Pugpolice i was asking updating this build on the nuka cola dlc
F*ck yes
i did it by myself.. so of course piretes are all about money and being a bunch of assholes BUT.... they dont have to be merciless, so i join forces with the furries and the ties... money and violence to the pirate is fun and goes pretty well with the melee/heavy playstyle
I did a pirate-built myself, but yours is much better. You thought about everything, real good :)
When you run a build for ages in fallout and plan to make a video about it but then fudge muppet does it before you ;___;
a mad max build would be pretty cool. Especially considering that it's the progenitor of a lot of the post apocalyptic aesthetic and how many references already exist to it in the game.Only drawback is that there are no cars.
is it acurate that i gave my pirate a mini gun
Ender Boy Do what you want, 'cause a Pirate is free.
You are a Pirate!
Yar har har! Glad to find another Alestorm fan though.
You guys finally did it. I assked for it so much. Yay :)
Where IS the scallywag outfit?? PLEASE TELL ME!
That's the Red Frock Coat. Hancock has it, and you can find him in Goodneighbor.
Ok, but how did he make money fly out of their bodies when he killed them??
+The DC Demon That's the fourth rank of the Fortune Finder Perk.
Daniel Fitzpatrick Oh, ok XD Sorry, I got Fallout 4 3 days ago, so I'm kinda new to it! Thanks though!!
its the final rank of fortune finder
Detective build with Nick Valentine! We need a crime fighting duo to protect the commonwealth! Maybe they can also star in the first TV cop drama since the bombs fell.
do vault boy build
I should play this game again. Want to meet a Behemoth. I played it a lot when I bought it, but never met one, I had explored a lot of the map.
This build seems like fun.
make some one that has ice involved
we will eventually :)
+FudgeMuppet IIIII NEEEEEEEEED ITTTTT
+CookieBRO 14 Hey man, you need to stay ... Cool
+Thomas Ink no he need to stay chill
Do the Santa Claus mini build
i have an idea for a fun build: the atom cat!
his/her primary source of damage is unarmed, and for that reason uses power armor with unarmed modifications.
he/she of course starts with high strength & charisma, and party boy/girl is a very important perk. and because of the high charisma, nuclear physicist isnt REQUIRED bc of cheap fusion cores. Luck is also pretty important bc of idiot savant, and bc you need luck 5 you might as well invest more in it. Zeke's jacket should be in the pants & torso slot and something like the pompadour wig and the black rim glasses for the head. You can do the rest :) .
Holy shit yes! Great idea!
Joker build!!!!!
Sure
Twisty build!
YESSSSSSSS YES YES
Why so serious?!?
Also that would be awesome
Theres an entertaining thought.
Hunters long coat + the captain's hat both from the Far Harbor DLC work extremely well for this build and the long coat has a base 40 damage resistance on it. I just started this build last night but ran to the dlc at level 2 so i could get the coat and fishing hook instead of the sword.
Enclave build!!!!
If you're looking for a new outfit for Hancock I'd recommend the Minutemen general outfit.
Dr.Hannibal Lecter build/Mad Caniballistic Doctor
+willena hopson I LOOOOVE IT I LOVE IT SO MUCH
I would love this build. But lets face it. Hannibal Lector in Silence of the Lambs has like 9 strength at least, 9 perception, 8 endurance, 10 charisma, 10 intelligence, 6-7 agility, and 7-8 luck
Already level ten with the pirate and I'm loving him so far
WTF no detective build
This comment didn't age well 😂
Gotta love the mental image of the Pirate readying his launcher for unloading on a large group of approaching supermutants, from a perch, just humming merrily/drunkenly to himself:
"hmm-mmm-hmm-hmm...
and really bad eggs...
drink up, me hearties, YO HO!"
Bounty Hunter bbz
Demolition expert who's obsessed with everything explosions. Doesn't bother using guns and is a crazy artillery expert in his military days before he got a dishonorable discharge for blowing up the cafeteria. DO HIM NEXT PLEASE
Sounds like someone I know! Hint* demoman
why does this guy say every sentence the exact same way?
