This story seems believable but then for your point it also was believable that he would hack after he quit the game when he beat the main list.

EDIT: He tricked the mods into approving his records on main list levels? What a shame. But right now, he's beaten Tartarus and The Golden as his hardest, but that still wouldn't get back the good reputation he once had. Huge L tho.

I actually thought SpaceUK was a legitimate player. It was never a thought in my mind that he might be cheating, so this was very surprising to see. And it's really messed up how much money he made off of cheating and lying to the whole community, it's straight up careless.
My thoughts exactly. I’m not even as mad about the money he made rather than the attention he kept from actual top players (which I guess can sort of go hand in hand). Taking the best player awards from Trick and Doggie and taking the #1 spot on the list from Doggie Crisis Wolves really upsets me, and also betraying the trust of people who thought he was their friend

Spaceuk was personally one of my fav gd youtuber. The fact he shows up to the community and overtook everyone so quickly. I was genuinely impressed how gifted he was and absolutely admired his talent. He became my motivation to play gd again. But now... it's just sad to see. Im not even mad, just disappointed very much

I'm honsetly really sad that this would all happen without knowing. Space was the reason i came back to gd because of Slaughterhouse, it breaks my heart seeing this all happen :((((. I hope we can learn about this and try to give other players the recognition they deserve!!!

One of my favorite experiences that I have in Gd was actually with SpaceUK. I remember I discovered space right around the time where we had 30-40% on The Golden and he was maybe averaging 5-15 viewers per stream. I was making a small mega collab with friends that was way to hard for any of us to beat, I believe it was an Erebus remake. Anyways after we completed the gameplay I asked Space if he would consider verifying once decoration was completed and he said he would consider it if the level looked good enough. Well after some demotivation and burnout on making the collab it never got finished but I still have that discord DM saved to my camera roll
I really looked up to Space, honestly. He made me persevere and challenge myself to beat something I thought I couldn't. But now, because of this, the entire community is in shambles.
It's been like 4 seconds since it happened and bro released an entire ass documentary 🥶

I was blindsided by this news, I wasn’t around when the cyclic or noctafly stuff happened but imagine it was like this. This really says a lot about cheat detection too it needs to be improved dramatically

I absolutely love how Doggie was trying to verify slaughterhouse and then spaceuk was like “yoink” and took it from him and then he gets exposed, so that means that after slaughterhouse was “verified” Doggie got the first victor after “verification” meaning he verified it since spaceuk hacked, so basically it’s like a uno reverse card we didn’t know existed

Not expecting me to wake up and to see that one of my favorite players was a hacker. I can’t believe he got away with all this and now we will never see him again. This is way worse than the Cyclic incident a while back ago. It’s sad to see him go this way.

Tbh vortrox,idk if you agree with me,but this scandal its far worst than Noctafly/Death Corridor situation,in my opinion,the demonlist had a scar since that exposing and now the list have won another one but worst than that,it shows that opened a gap,of how many other players have hacked their verifications and the lack of trust in the community its completely (i wouldnt say so low) bad. And it got worst after he won 2 times Best Player in GD awards,showing how much spotlights from other pro players (like doggie and trick),got stolen from it,they could remove spaceuk from the titles of 2021 and 2022 awards giving them to the other two mentioned,but i doubt it would be enough to close this page on geometry dash community.

this whole situation is pretty sad, me personally i got back into the community in like 2020/2021 after so many years and i accepted spaceuk as the best player like many other people (can't say i didn't have doubts about everyone after coming back to gd after years and seeing how hard things had gotten), but now i think that too many people are saying he WOULD'VE been a promising player. well he hacked, but he could still keep playing the game normally from now on. he could actually try and get as good as we all thought he was. they deleted his records, it doesn't mean he can't play anymore ever again
My life has been a lie. I considered him the second coming of nSwish, maybe even overtaking him, I looked up to him as a GD player. I followed and admired him. This is devastating.

Posted this a few times under a few vids but it sums up my thoughts perfectly
Back in march of 2021, i was hella sus of him. The golden in 50k attempts when his top 3 hardest was wasu, leyak and WL didnt seem reasonable to me. i told a few friends my thoughts and how sus it looks but was brushed off and told hes legit. Mind you they were better than me, so i just shut up and took there word for it cause im awful at gd. I can fucking believe i was right this entire time. We need higher standards for completions, and as much as i dont wanna say this, we may have to resort to having them on stream use both a monitor cam and a keyboard cam to show every single input they do. Streams mean nothing at this point when you know how to play. its as simple as turning a macro on, clicking to it, and turning it off when you get far and having the bind far from the mic so it wont be picked up. It actually sickens me that he got away with it this long. I bet you theres at least 15 hackers in the top 100 on pointercrate atm cause of how easy it really is to get away with it now. Every single top player needs to be heavily looked into at this point to avoid something like this for now on. at least for the main list completions. ik its a hassle and time consuming but if the list TRULY did care about integrity and maintaining itself, they would have no issue triple checking every fucking record thats submitted to the list. its honestly pathetic and only further makes me loose faith in the list to begin with. for now on im not bothering with top players. I dont know who the fuck to trust at this rate. im just gonna play for my own personal goals and reasons and leave it at that.
honestly couldn't agree more, the list team always looked up to space and did whatever he said without question so they definitely need to get better at making sure top players are actually legit, also good decision playing for your own personal goals as most of the GD community is kinda a mess right now

Clubstep (actually beated it)
Acropolis (fluke from clubstep in 7k attempts)
Windy landscape (5k)
Poltergeist (2-3k)
Cataclysm(7k)
Bloodbath(7k)
Bloodlust(30k)
Trying to beat zodiac right now

Jokes aside though, the fact that a hacking scandal this big happened is still so unreal to me. It’s also the fact that due to this, so much of history for the past 2 years will have to be altered. He screwed up so many players in the stats viewer who could have been/remained at #1 (RG, Spirtex, Crisis, Wolvez, Jeller, ThunderBT), Trick and Doggie TWICE because of Slaughterhouse and the gd awards, the list placements when Slh still reigned (could be before that), and most notably how people are going to be able to trust top players
