The solution is simple. Stop the government and fuel companies being so bloody greedy. Let’s blockade the stations again.

I think we should lower VAT back to 17.5% and then this would help right across the board

Vat on fuel is only 17% of the total cost, whilst the government tax ontop is over 40%. Lowering vat wouldn’t skim the surface of this scam

I saw this coming last year so sold my C Class V6 doing 19 mpg ....Have a Peugeot 508SW estate 1.6 semi auto , manages 60 mpg in town and up to 115 mpg at 55 mph , 80 mpg at 70 mph on the motorway ! £20 road tax a year this SW is so cheep to run if diesel was £5 a litre I could still drive everywhere !
Anything above 2.0 is worthless today , Buy a Diesel or it is just for a Sunday petrol driver , my SLK 200 comes out on a sunny day but still manages 35 mpg on a weekend cruise ...All the big Mercedes like an SLK350 or SLK55 is useless at 8-18 mpg , C63 ? DOOMED to be a Sunday driver and one that travels 50 miles max on a Sunday !
I use my 508SW for beach runs to Skegness from the Midlands and get there and back for £30 for 300 miles loaded up at £1.80 a litre ...Not bad is it as most roads are 50-60 mph Cruising speed so £30 is ok to go Skegvagas for the day , would cost £90 in my 2.0 SLK , and that makes it an expensive day out just to go Skeg ?

That makes no sense at all… renting houses loses you tons of money. Of course you pay mortgage interest but you get more money back when you sell the house. While renting loses you £1000s per year and you don’t own anything

@@smoxesss for 99% of cases that doesn’t matter at all. The queen isn’t going to randomly come in and take you house away out of nowhere. @micheals1992 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@youraveragejoe1 I do hypermile, by limiting brake use using engine braking in fuel cut-off mode and switching off the engine for stops more then 5 seconds, I drive home in rush hour traffic but I've found a route home that's all downhill the crest of the hill is usually where the queueing starts and then switch off the engine to roll the entire way through the congestion that's the only congestion so it's all done using potential energy my commute is 15 miles on A roads and 5 miles in the city. Believe it or not but the fuel economy usually goes up in the city. My record trip Mpg in city driving was 100mpg on faster roads (over 45mph) it's quite difficult to get over 70mpg. The fuel economy peaks between 26-35mph as I can hold the instant mpg at 95-110mpg in 5th gear and maintain speed (26mph in 5th is around 1100rpm and 35mph is around 1500rpm)
