Hello, 'Imagine There'! I enjoyed your video from choice of music to layout....well done. I also enjoyed your low key tone in how you present the resort and its amenities. Looking forward to more of your videos of Cuba. (John, Cornwall, Ontario)
Thanks 'Imagine There' for another informative video. Question! In your opinion is the Diamond Club worth the cost? And....does the Diamond Club have their own snack bar and bar on the Diamond Club beach? Thanks...John, Cornwall, Ontario.
Thank you for watching, John! I'd say the upgrade depends on what's important to you. It affords you premium drinks, a separate snack bar and a few more amenities. There's also a separate beach section, which was empty since I went during low season. There's a separate pool area too. If you're going with just adults, I'd recommend upgrading to sanctuary instead.
From what I can see, it appears that Holguin is presenting itself as the more premier side of Cuban vacation resorts. The reality is, the vast majority of 3 and below stars are already quite old and dated. Ive been to both, and its ahhh challenging. lol. But fun actually. You can see the vast difference in layout than the traditional Cuban all inclusive. More European in design like the Canary Islands. Great videos
Yup, interesting to see how they're modernizing the new resorts. But I always have a great time regardless of it being old or new. As long as it's clean!
Thanks for subbing! That's a tough question because I had a great time at both. But essentially, CSM has the better beach, but Holguin has the newer resort. So it depends on your preferences.
you should smile more often
I need more coffee for that

Great video
Thanks. I was thinking of going here in December.
Thank you. Hope you have a great time there.
New subscriber here. In comparison, would you prefer Sanctuary at Holguin? or Santa Maria? my wife and I are going to Cuba in late September. Thanks

Going there on September 9
Nice! Have fun.
did you go alone thinking about planning a solo trip
Not much nightlife but if you want to go there and simply relax, it's a great resort.
