A great lyric with a beautiful melody. funny how quickly some people are willing to label something 'sentimental' because its expressed in simple, honest terms and not couched in clever rhyming and elaborate wordplay or worse, needs 'a twist'. Johnny wrote a simple song everyone could understand and relate to, and this seems to have made some people uncomfortable, I feel sorry for them. I personally prefer Johnnys own version but this is a fine performance from them both.
hi John, Was a bit dissapointed with the exception of el savador there was very little written about johnny album "current affairs" from the eighties in his new book "to the light" This was a great album and I thought a great success for him.
