I'm impressed w/ the new Sorento. The front redesign has a great balance of bold, luxury, and aggressiveness. Great review! I would def choose this over the Telluride.
We test drove a SX last week. Amazing vehicle. Really love the new dash area a lot lower in the sight lines. Tons of power. Maybe will wait till the end of the year for price drop and way to ant dealer mark ups going on now 3000 dollars worth, crazy.
7:38 look at all those EV9 that they probably can't sell rn cause they overpriced in the first place. When the Telluride was released it was never like this 😊. I just picked up an EV6 GT on a deep discount and I'm loving it. I was interested in the EV9 GT-line but it only seats 6 for that trim so no thx. I'm not paying 18K more or so just for 1 more seat. It's a bigger car which is nice but the GT is fine in size as well. If they make one with 7 or 8 seats then I might be interested in it. Can't wait to see how the Ioniq 7 will look like!
I like it! Looks good. I saw a fully blacked out one the other day that I didn't know right away what it exactly was. I just knew it looked really good. I think Kia should just do away with the third row on the Sorento all together and reserve the third row for the Telluride. It's just not large enough for that obsolescence third row that really can't even be used. I would guess that the third row in the Sorento very seldom is a factor vital for most buyers.
I like the Kia’s. Looked at a few vehicles. The ex wife been driving a Kia over twenty years. If I couldn’t afford the Raptor. I may have gotten the Sorento or Telluride. 👍
You need to do more of the trims. I know they are very similar but I really feel this is going to be a big seller. Plus maybe you could get one for a five day test to see if there are any quirks.
X-Line vs X-Pro question. Do you know what was done to the X-Pro to give it the additional towing capacity? I know the tire and wheel sizes are different but that shouldn't affect the towing capacity. Suspension? Tuning? Tranny cooler? please explain why the X-Pro cost $1000 more and tows more. Thank you
Hello Ben I enjoyed this video of the new sorento.but does any of the new Sorento or telluride comes with the entertainment system on the back of the head rest .or kia does not do that anymore
I have a 2022 Sorento . I was looking to update to 2024 but I changed my mind because of the plastic wheel arch and bumper, which tbh looks ugly on this refresh model .The piano black finish looks much more premium in my 2022 .
Looks like you need the 'One Blade' to trim the beard. You can keep the beard nice and trim at various lengths. I have the 'One Blade' and it works pretty good.
My sister bought her 2017 Hyundai Elantra new, she still has it and she's never had a problem. Her husband bought a 2018 Tacoma and last year it needed major engine work with 30k miles.
Bought my 2013 Kia Optima new in summer 2012. It has 188,000 plus miles and the most expensive repair so far was catalytic converter replace which was $350. Everything still works and it gets usually 27-28mpg combined. Looks good and has never left me stranded.
Like every other brand none is perfect and if you went to school you should be aware that the engine can come Ford transmission from BMW nobody is building a car with is own part anymore ....just for your information 😉
Why would you want to promote a car manufacturer especially Kia that produces nothing but garbage engines? Don't be fooled people by the way they look on the outside and inside the transmissions and engines are the most important. They don't stand behind their engines and they're nothing but garbage. Stick with Toyota or honda. Pay the little extra and not worry about aggravation later on. The company does not stand behind their products and even if you contact them they don't care they won't help. I've never had their products and never will. I don't know why people want to promote these cars you know they're garbage.
"I've never had their products and never will" Then how could you possibly know how they treat their customers or what they do or don't stand behind? I've owned two and they've been fantastic. About to buy our third and expect nothing less.

Definitely like to see a Telluride and Santa Fe comparisons.

I would love to see more of the trims. Or even a video outlining the difference between all the trims.
Wanted to buy this to use this for work/tools + family. Next time can you show all seats down flat. Thanks

You never take a break.
Looks wise I think it's fantastic. I worry about the dual clutch transmission's longevity...

Will the all terrains be noisier and rougher than the 20in all seasons on the lower models ?
Nice styling, looks like a previous gen Explorer. I’ve heard too many stories of Kias with engine problems and failure.
Anybody else think it has a touch of gmc Acadia styler to the front?
Kia is on a Roll! Great cars!
Is DCT transmission used in the 1.6 Turbo-Hybrid engine?
It be a fun suv to drive it's very nice Kia
Hello Ben I enjoyed this video of the new sorento.but does any of the new Sorento or telluride comes with the entertainment system on the back of the head rest .or kia does not do that anymore
I believe only in the Carnival
I think this car is in the same class as the Ford Edge, Honda Passport but w/out the 3rd row, & maybe the Toyota Highlander w/ the 3rd row.

I agree, I don’t get the homeless look.
Correct me if I am wrong but I believe that the 2.5 turbo engine has the DCT transmission as in the Hyundai Santa Fe.
They are the same car
That's a lemon. Usually everyone will make a video about that transmission if it was known. Obviously a lemon
Exposed exhaust tips would really make this car look better
Love the upgrade but I feel it should have a head-up display for 50k
Sorento Vs 4Runner limited! They are the same dimensions.
Nice luv what Kia is doing
Seems a little small for three rows. Not bad, though.
How is kia and Hyundai reliability? I’m old enough to remember what they were like before they got popular. Serious question as we are in the market.
If you want a reliable Asian vehicle, get a toyota or a mazda.
@@notme3184 I’ve had a Toyota Tacoma for 20 years and I’m looking to go in another direction
@ModernCowboy78 Mazda.
Yeah I understand. If your looking for a small SUV, toyota has a lot to choose from. Same with Lexus, Mazda and Honda/Acura

Nice car with with current gas prices who can afford 20 MPG vehicle ?
No it's a Plymouth Voyager. and Hyundai has actually been Oldsmobile this whole time
Bruh, what type of drugs are you on right now?
(At the very end of the video, he says "Honda Santa Fe." He meant Hyundai.)
Kia and Hyundai also have the best warranty in the business...go ask the other makers why they cannot match it?
U lucky u don’t own one all Kia Hyundai products recalled for 🔥 engine
Fake news
The Highlander is the other comparison
Highlander is going to be bigger with more cargo space, plus bench seat option on some higher trims.
@@magnoliap5824 the Grand Highlander is bigger but the regular Highlander is closer to this in size
Is this a kia?
Hyundai Kia is the new Toyota Honda
Most likely, it's a Kia
No it's actually a Daewoo
A reliable kia
2024 Kia Sorento SX AWD Prestige X-Pro!
Hyundai/KIA have nice designs and amenities but long-term quality are still questionable.

Very questionable. The amount of Kia engine failures and fires is absurd.

Yes, it’s still a kia. Not well built or fun to drive.
Go drive one

Do you own a Hyundai or kia? If not, don't talk. Toyota and Honda are garbage. Smart people buy KIAs and Hyundais for long term reliability.
