I have a 2018 version with 1.6 hybrid... 155k kms .... it's decently reliable wet clutch... not like the ford dry clutch which is a time bomb... the annoying thing about it u gotta change fluid frequently as per owners manual
I got the SXP xline in the midnight blue but couldn’t find one with brown interior within 750 miles🤦🏻♂️😫 ended up just getting the bland black but it’s still very nice!

The one thing I can’t figure out how to shut off is the “Consider a Break” notification on my dash. These Michigan potholes probably makes the system think I’m drunk🤣
So I really like the keyfob with the buttons on the side when it is attached to an actual key (no accidentally hitting buttons when trying to crank the key to start), but with push button start and no need to crank, the side buttons feel like a bad use of keyfob space :/

But the 2024 model does? I think the 2024 face lift model does as well. Do you think it’s worth getting the 2024 facelift plug in hybrid sorento for the HUD, over the other enhancements that the 2025 model receives? Thanks in advance
We have a 22 SX with the same powertrain. After driving everything else in the class we found it to be fun and sporty to drive but we also don’t drive new cars for a living. Drove the Toyota and found it boring, thought the Mazda had weird tech so we have been pretty happy with the Sorento, probably trade it in a few years for a new one. As others have mentioned it’s crazy the prices they are getting but it just seems to be the world we live in🤷♂️
The 2.5t hybrid engine in not ready yet. The Palisade, Telluride, and GV70 got first dibs on this powertrain. The regular 2.5t engine is not needed due to having the 3.5l v6 engine which will likely be replaced with a low powered 3.5t v6 engine that will also debut in the next Palisade and Telluride.
lol 50k. I didn’t work this hard in life to spend that much on a mass market vehicle. The same goes for its competitors. It’s a nice looking car, but I’d rather buy a new or off lease Lexus, BMW, or Audi. Hell, even an off lease A-spec RDX is about $30k or less in my market.

Complain about the car being expensive yet you didn’t account for other cars being expensive, and you didn’t account the fact that every car goes up in price compared to cars in the past few years.
