Hello Emma! Just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your videos and tips. I just got my IELTS scores and I got above of what I expected. The information and tips provided in each video are SO accurate that I cannot be more grateful for your support and training. Thank you so much Emma!! I'm just so happy right now!
If you REALLY were an IELTS examiner you would know you are in breach of your contract for announcing it in public. You would also have noticed some of the misleading advice in this video.
Thank you, Emma, for providing these wonderful videos. I had appeared for my IELTS exam last month on 29th July. I am very happy to write that I passed the exam with overall band of 8.0. Keep up the good work!!
Emma.. I Dont know why i get mothers type feelings from you. While preparing for ielts i used to follow you watched your videos and finally i secured 7 bands overall.. I am so thank ful to you. You r my mentor. I love you like my mother. I really respect you
I once had an interesting experience that has had an important impact on my own language learning. It happened when I was living in Scotland as an assistant teacher and used to return home with a teacher after a tiring school day. I noticed that I was exhausted and the words didn't come out right. I felt stiff and and the same time stressed. So I commented that to the teacher whose answer was that he admired us, assistant teachers, for the effort and that most Brits didn't speak any other languages. It helped me to relax and be more generous to myself. And , amazingly, by calming down, I got the feeling that the words CAME flying to me instead of being me searching for them. I learned to slow down a bit and be more confident with my English. Before I was sort of fighting with myself and surroundings in order to improve.
Thank you Emma. Your superb guidance videos helped be score a Band 8/9 with about a week's preparation. Congratulations on your excellent instructor work.

I have been doing the official IELTS Cambridge practice tests for weeks now and I consistently score more than 8 for all the other parts (Listening, Reading, Writing). I am a Doctor, I graduated with a first-class and completed my internship training just last month.. I really need to get through this IELTS exam which is to be held in the first week of November in Colombo. I was planning to do the PLABs in March. As you already may know, I need a minimum band score of 7.0 for each section with an average of 7.5overall. The exam center accepted my request for extra time and told me to bring my medical certificate and copies of the emails which I sent them regarding the special arrangements for my stammer. It is so unfair, unreasonable and unethical if the down score me based on the fact that I stammer. It is not something that I can control and It is a disability from which I have been suffering since childhood. I would really appreciate it if you could share with me any experiences you had with students that stammer, how did they fare at the speaking part of the exam?
Here I'm gonna say my personal experience. Whatever you do your focus is important and give maximum as you can. I worked hard for 21 days and got 7. It is possible and go with TH-cam videos and get to know the strategies. IELTS is based about how you use your skills. Good luck
They make us so comfortable and encouraging while taking speaking test. Thank you Emma! It is wonderful class on IELTS speaking class. I am so impressed with your last point " Do not have to be perfect. This boosts lot of confidence in speaker
Yes, but they are not gonna help you get a good Mark. Of course, once in a while you can do it, cause it's natural. But it is better to use some phrases filler. For example if you are asked something you don't know how to answer, instead of keep in silence or say mmm ehh, you can say things as "that's an interesting question" "I have never thought about this before, but if you ask me I would say...." in that way you are showing a better language management while you give yourself, some seconds to clear your mind.
Emmaaaa!! I don't know how to thank you. I'm not very good at english but the only thing I did before giving my IELTS was watching your all IELTS videos in hardly a week before my exam. Wish you all the best.
Can you please write me what way you follow to do the IELTS exam?
I want to do it and I am new here.
Good morning Emma, how are you?
Our names are: Mariana and Lucio. We take the ielts exam today (the oral part) and tomorrow we have to take the written part.
The truth is that your videos and tips helped us a lot. We are very grateful that you uploaded videos to youtube to help people like us who render the ielts.
Again thank you very much!
I love you teaching Emma , I am one new students to day
