If you don't have some rebar to use - a Gearwrench 13mm 3/8 drive deep socket on 2 long extensions works really well. The 13mm nut fitting end passes through the sleeve but the shoulder of the socket drive end rests on the edge of the sleeve, making it easy to drive the sleeve out. My new sleeves also had one that was a hand press fit so I saved that for the outside roller that is the last to fit onto the axle. Your instructions were spot on and a big help!
Thx for putting this together. I started the install of my turf rake and found it was really easy to get the sleeves out. With less than a dozen mows with my catalyst so maybe the sleeves had some wear already. So when I pulled the roller off the roller immediately separated in the middle.
I also ordered a turf rake so I'm watching this closely! I wonder what is going to happen first - your first mow video or the delivery of my Catalyst? 😂 Of course, I'll be watching for more of those good hints! Now, where did I stash that rebar...
Love the channel! I just got a 20” McLane Greensmower off Facebook market place. I got the engine running after a new carb but was wondering what RPMs do you like to mow at?
If it’s a Honda gx it should be capped at 3500 RPM. Anything higher can cause damage. I normally mow at about 3000-3300 RPM. I appreciate the support and welcome to the channel. 👍🏻

Thanks Mark!!! I hope others read your comment as it is a great suggestion. I will definitely make mention in a future video 👍🏻
Good video!!! Thanks!! 👍
Thanks for watching! 👍🏻
Dwayne, you have me turning Catalyst Green with envy bud!
It’s a great mower. The 20 inch maybe a good option for as i know you wanted something that can handle and easier to move around
There is a solution but you better watch your wallet!

I’m glad to hear that it helped. 👍🏻
My roller also separated into two pieces as I was removing it from the axle. That actually made driving out the spacer sleeves easier.
Who would have thought that the split roller design would help with this problem. lol. Thanks Mark!!! 👍🏻
