Why is there always salt on these things in these channels? Why not restore an old tool, there's alot of them around. No need to smear dirt and salt water all over them to make them "rustier".

Bonjour,
Très belle restauration fait de manière logique avec le matériel nécessaire pour réussir (sableuse, fontaine de nettoyage etc..)
En résumé très professionnel !
Cependant je revient sur certains points !
La peinture du réservoir en plastic cela ne va pas tenir à long terme. L'essence et ces additifs est très corrosif, la peinture va pelé !
Personnellement j'utilise de l'acide citrique 20g par litre d'eau, cela nettoie et élimine les dépôts et même blanchit le plastique en l'immersion pendant 24 heures.
Ensuite les durites qui sont à remplacé, au remontage on les voient poreuses. Elles se dégrade et les particules finiront pas encrasser le carburateur.
Pour finir le carburateur, si l'ultrason est le meilleur moyens pour le nettoyé en profondeur, il manque un démontage plus poussé et le remplacement des membranes n'étaient pas un luxe.
Au final votre rénovation est un succès et pour cela je vous dît bravo !👏👏👍👍

Good restoration, but I'm surprised that the carburettor was not stripped and jets cleaned. In use, the blade speed seems very slow (it might be due to the camera frame rate) and seems to slow even more when cutting. Perhaps check that the clutch is gripping properly.
Partly due to the aspect ratio, along with the fact that the grass is very soft, I run at low speed to save fuel.👍👍👍
wead wacker carburetors dont really have removable jets bro its all diaphrams and he did strip it and clean it and replace the diaphrams its not like a dirtbike carb

tu no ves que baje, pero cuando le colocas en la cabeza al tornillo o en los laterales, en fluido va bajando poco a poco hasta llegar al final de la rosca.

This video is kinda fake because plastic CANNOT rust and this looks VERY staged
Not rust gas treatment stain.
This is fake you can see that gas tanks don’t rust cuz they are not a metal fuel tank
Even that I agree with you, I believe it is not rust, it is colour staining from old fuel-oil mix residue.
I have seen a lot of fake videos, I think that it is legit.
The gas tank is plastic
Even plastics are affected by chemical stains when not regularly cleaned, yes that is not pure rust but a combination of rust, dust and chemicals that somewhat reacted to the plastic. But I must say that restoration is legit and expertly made.
