I hooked up my LOC to the main harness that goes into the amp lmao it still works though just hope I didn't fuck up the speaker wires, I tried to go off a wiring diagram i found and i forgot which ones were it but the colors didnt match up on either the left or right - + but the other ones matched up so idk imma go drive around n try to bump here soon
@@darealchris6213 I got it bro I switched the right side - + up but I did that on the last system I hooked up and knew how to fix it quick if I take 1 rca cable out and keep the other plugged in and it bumps but not with both plugged in means I fucked up the wiring and reversed the polarity on 1 speaker so it cancels both speakers out anyway I'm thumpin now 2 12s in a big ass ported box that I almost couldn't get in my trunk ✊💪
Hey man just got a 2011 g37x the other day was looking into getting bigger subs for it as well, so technically speaking If i buy a new sub and amp most of the wiring is already there for me too tap into? I'm guessing id just have to feed a power cable from the battery like you did.
I have a 15”kicker L7 In my 2010 Infiniti g37 and I had installed it yesterday and today at the store my car didn’t want to start back up any reason why ? Haven’t changed the battery in a long time either
test your remote wire and see if your amp is turning off when car is completely off. if not amp could be staying on and drain the battery. might have to change remote wire
If you want to figure out if you're stock electrical can handle your subs you need to find out the amperage your amplifier needs. I'll give you a loose explanation that will get you close enough. Look at your amp fuse rating. Whatever you're fuse is rated is how much amperage you need. Next Google the output of your stock alternator. Hypothetically lets say your alternator puts out 100 amps and your amplifier needs 75 amps. By itself that's enough power but the catch is that the car will use about 3 quarters of what the alternator puts out so you'll only have 25 left amps for the amp to use. That's a good way to burn up an amplifier. I would never recommend running anything over 1000 watts without beefing up your electrical system. Unless you really like watching your equipment and money go up in smoke.

Wire them together, positive on the sub will be Valet and negative will be sky blue. Put them in the back of the connector where the wires goes and connects to the sub. What color cable on the LOC are positive and negative and remote? Seems that I have the same LOC but I’m not sure as to what color wires go to what on the harness
For bass use a line output converter and tap into the stock 10 in the rear deck, connect wires coming from black and yellow and run to positive and negative to amp aswell as your remote, plug in rca’s to line output converter then hook up subs
@@dozer4475 Yeah bro there are 2 white and 2 gray wires on the LOC, and then a yellow and black. Im having trouble figuring out which one is supposed to go into the voilet and blue for the amp plug in
@@derek4302 violet? Looking at my LOC I have 2 grey 2 white 2 green 2 purple, all go to each door speaker. Then I have a yellow, black, blue & brown wire. Yellow goes to positive terminal on amplifier to give LOC 12v constant. Black goes to negative terminal on amp to give LOC ground. Blue is your remote, turns the amp on. And brown is an audio ground for your speakers.
Appropriate the help in the comments i wish I could tell you but i sold the car. See what system setup you have and look up the diagram for ur amp/wires i took all my - on the LOC and put them to gather same as ur + and i took them two and tap into the - and + for subwoofer output from factory amp and make sure its grounded for static noise
