Not only do you keep Granguinol's GY effect live if your opponent has shenanigans in response to Albaz' activation, but you get an additional search with Albion at end of turn to get another Branded Fusion. If played correctly, this deck gets to resolve Branded Albion's search effect literally every turn. For that reason, I -strongly- recommend finding room for a second Searing Lubellion in the extra deck. You have a near endless stream of fusions and 2 Lubellions gives you a lot more ability to recycle your dead fusions into Mirrorjades/Luluwaliliths/Dragostapellias depending on what the rest of your ED looks like while still having the prospect of using them again later in a simplified gamestate if necessary. For that reason, definitely don't sleep on Baronne's Standby Phase ability to revive Red Eyes Dark Dragoon (if you're running him) or Sanctifire after burning her negate as well. This deck's biggest selling point to me is that you get to not only vomit half your extra deck on the board in one turn for 5-8 interactions on their turn, but still have the grindgame of the gods being able nearly fully reassemble your entire board each turn unless you're OTK'd.
At 19:29 since the sanctifire play is illegal, you can instead, during the end phase use opening to summon quem dumping retribution for guaranteed follow up. Then when you use cartesia and lubellion to synchro for Lulu quem triggers to re summon albaz to fuse with your opponent's board

Actually for the blooper at 16:59, if you only want to make Mirrorjade then Cartesia+Albaz is correct, just make Albion and banish Albaz+Lulu for Mirrorjade. You don't even need to discard.
I think the fusion based builds will still be better this format. You are only able to play 3 going 2nd cards in Dark Ruler, which doesnt do anything against a Noir, or if all your spell/trap zones are locked, and even if you did switch the dark rulers to kaijus, all you have to rely on is kaijus, vs SHS or Kash probably wont work out too well, imo. I think the fusion version especially with the gimmick puppet is the best. Since you don't have to play a bunch of bystial engine, you can run 9-12 going 2nd cards and have a chance in multiple matchups.

One thing to note is that lulu summons from deck or HAND. So you can add back cartesia witu its effect then summon it on the field if you don't have any left in the deck . Also a good exercise to practice playing branded is playing without branded fusion altogether,this helped me a lot in understanding the convoluted combo lines this deck can generate
If you’re going to play luluwalith might as well run the 1 incredible ecclesia for the Albaz search. Nadir, send luluwalith, summon ecclesia on end phase. Opponents turn combo off with the ecclesia.

Cail for your bystial engine try 3 lubellion 2 magnamhut 2 saronir and 3 chaos space, 2 magnamhuts help you get additional resources for next turn 2 saronirs help you dump branded cards and or a lubellion from the deck to allow you summon the lv 6 bystials by banishing the additional one. chaos space helps to discard mercourier or tragedy or any other light or dark to let you summon the lv 6 bystials easier Plus it gives you more opportunity to banish lubellion and get the 2nd effect of chaos space to draw a card
I'm curious If there's still any place for the predaplant package I'm using in my budget build seems pretty awesome, but might take away other stuff that's needed. if anyone's curious its 3 keeper of dragon magic (optional if you have other good ways to get-) 1 instant fusion 1 predaplant bufolicula 1 predaplant sarlingtonia cobra 1 predaplant ambulomelides You use keeper to get instant to summon abulance which adds bufolicula for its pendulum effect and then tribute keeper to summon darlingtonia cobra which adds a fusion or poly spell.
I am watching this vid for the Combos and to see how you play the deck. One of the problems I have with the budget build is that people are heavily playin Droll at the moment, so it often hard looses to droll cause it has not enough gas.
Ngl the lines for this deck just evolved so much from just activate branded fusion summon mirror jade pass. EVERYTIME I play this deck feels like a third eye opens cause the lines change depending on hand and not just a 1-2 line opener combo

Honestly the power ceiling for this version of branded despia seems way lower than the original guardian chimera builds. Not sure if this is just better consistency but there aren’t many interruptions being put up

I know that the extra deck space is tight AF, but couldn't you use Cartesia eff to fusion into it on your opp turn and get a pop 2 draw 1, or pop 1 draw 2 still? I'm genuinely curious if Dis Pater is that good, and I'm just missing something with it, or is this first draft just trying as many new cards as you can, and still be viable?

Yea this deck gets rolled by Kash, good luck playing when you can’t use lubellion (since they only play 1) and without dragoon you’re chances of breaking their board is very low. Who cares if they have the ash, and if they do, you’re even more skrewed.

I main 3 evenly & 2 super poly instead of your board breakers regardless you’re not going to kill then in one turn with evenly or dark ruler so ID rather get rid of pesky back row potentially & it’s just a better card going first or 2nd imo but great profile , I disagree with the amount of bystials but i get the ratios/reasoning
@@thecalieffect Yeah I went to be scanned for the same scan a couple of times before but all I know right now is I had 3 markers I haven't felt like I've been in pain but sometimes my muscles get stuck and I've been working out and doing my cardio but when it comes to cardio I have a hard time walking more than 6,000 steps. I used to be a real lazy gamer but after my last 2 injuries( a split in a bone in my foot and a shattered ankle the year after I broke my foot bone which both were on the same leg) I changed and between both my injuries I went from being 230 pounds to being 320 pounds. Then later on in life I found my stomach shrinking as I lost weight and my appetite became so small that I went from being able to eat a whole medium pizza in 1 sitting to eating 3 eggs for breakfast or lunch and eating a meal the size of a Taco Bell burrito for supper. I also lost 60 pounds in about 7 months and to this day I still struggle to eat more than 2 meals a day and most days I have a hard time having more than 1,000 calories and 100 carbs a day. The thing I forgot to mention is that whatever I have it affects my entire body including my kidneys. My family is considering buying diapers just in case I wake up and can't hold it till I get to the bathroom and I'm only 25 years old.
You cant do that, min 17:50 you activated branded fusión, In the min. 20 you synchro summon, asumming you did it in the same turn, if you actived branded fusión you can only fusión monster in that turn

Etudes macro effect is only active while you control a bystial monster. So unless you go into Bystial Dis Pater the effect is turned off.

Between Quem and Rindbrumm, I think Albaz turbo is a legit strategy as plan B

Chimera's pop/draw effect can only be activated if fusion summoned using a spell card

I used to be a real lazy gamer but after my last 2 injuries( a split in a bone in my foot and a shattered ankle the year after I broke my foot bone which both were on the same leg) I changed and between both my injuries I went from being 230 pounds to being 320 pounds. Then later on in life I found my stomach shrinking as I lost weight and my appetite became so small that I went from being able to eat a whole medium pizza in 1 sitting to eating 3 eggs for breakfast or lunch and eating a meal the size of a Taco Bell burrito for supper. I also lost 60 pounds in about 7 months and to this day I still struggle to eat more than 2 meals a day and most days I have a hard time having more than 1,000 calories and 100 carbs a day. The thing I forgot to mention is that whatever I have it affects my entire body including my kidneys. My family is considering buying diapers just in case I wake up and can't hold it till I get to the bathroom and I'm only 25 years old.
