Yes the port had a fairly good year in spite of it all.
So wonderful-now I can wake up the neighbors...We will have to lobby for the Cort to use the deeper horn more often in the future!

They exchanged salutes with the Atlantic Huron when I caught them at the south entry. Pretty cool.
Honestly your videos make me wanna travel to Duluth and wait for a boat. And 5:18 kind of sounds like the American Spirit. Kind of weird that the Maumee\Victory has that horn.

Do you know what was wrong with the Munson's horn this season? It sounded like it was trying to blow when it's cold out even when it wasn't cold.
They may have two horns and the captain just likes to use the low one 🤷♂️

The captain often salutes the bridge operator with 1 long and 2 short blasts of the horn, and the operator responds with the same salute. Sometimes they do a master salute which is 3 long and 2 short blasts.
