    Well done. My 1984 front bearings are starting to squeal a bit. Just drove 158 miles around North Yorkshire

      Best of luck with it - it's fairly straightforward. I recommend you go back in after a couple of hundred miles and just check the castellated nut doesn't need tightened another flat or two :)

    Don't know if you realised when you completed the assembly but I don't think that grease seal is the correct one. That looks like the seal for the earlier style (pre ABS?) which seals on the inner diameter and is located in the rear of the hub, sealing on the upright. Later cars ( I think as a result of the change to ABS which your car is) have a seal which locates on the upright and seals on the diameter at the end of the hub (behind the large bearing). It may go together but not give a propper seal.
