    Love this! Just came across this video. My fiancé recently passed away and I want to make a blanket with his full name and birthday and death date on it. Such a great way to do this. Your instructions are so easy to follow. Thank you so much from one loomer to another..lol

    what if you use a different type of stitch? would this work the same with a different stitch?

    Thank you SO much for this ! I’ve never attempted letter before but it was easy to understand and I’m thrilled with the result for my grandsons first blanket. If I was smart enough I’d post a pic 😂

    Can this technique be used on crochet. I love thia technique better than the ones they have for crochet.

      I use a chalk marker and draw the name or shape very lightly on the project and do the stitch...it fades away eventually:) hope it helps

    Hi, how do you match the size of the printed graph paper with the size of the stitches? Or does it matter? I want to make sure the word I knit is in the centre of the jumper and not off to one side, and the letters are not too big or too small on the jumper

    How about a tutorial video on how to use the grid paper by transferring the alphabet letters to the grid like a step by step video so that beginners can learn it the right way. If you can even point me in the right direction for step by step help so I can do it the right way without messing up my blanket please

      Each individual box represents a stitch so when you mark the grid, then you in turn count the stitches on the blanket. Does that make any sense?

    I am a beginner. I started single crochet blanket in yellow 142 horizontal and want to put a name in the center. I’m having a very hard time. I found a grid and the name but I can’t figure how to do this

      I go on Pinterest and type “pixel letters” then when I see one I keep scrolling down and more similar will appear

    Where does the draft paper come in?, you never showed how you used it to make your word, not real helpful
