Honestly Kraken Eaters are probably the only Destruction faction that regularly bathes. So they probably smell significantly better than all the others.
The army I look most forward to building. Between my Warstomper who has a great Fyreslayer mohawk, beard, and sword and my Two-headed Kraken-Eater, the story of my Iron Raiders of Chamon are forging their tale
I think this one has the most potential for interesting story customization on the model. Maybe a sail wrapped around his arm or knee. seaweed and barnacles in random places. maybe even ship parts hanging off of him.
I know you may not care about the mechanics, but Kraken-Eater in Ionrach has some nifty tech, because while his unique ability forces him to go last, if you wait to get him into the fray until Turn 3, he still Fights before the enemy gets to pick due to High Tide
This is so cool... I'm a 40k guy but I've been watching your vids to learn about AOS, I already liked the setting with games like vermintide but this, this video has given me a massive urge to collect these guys!
My friends and I each collect an alliance. Mine is Destruction. I’m excited to get this army built. Probably won’t use them as much, like my ogors. They table whatever they face so playing against them over and over wouldn’t be fun.
Probably my favorite of the three, but also the one that fits my Gitz the least. Love the net full of fish, looks like he was interrupted while fishing and he is going to use his catch to beat you. Edit: Though the net puts him at home with the River Troggoth Hag, so maybe if they were painted like blind cave fish.
The kraken eater is my least favorite aesthetically but i really like the lore breakdown of him. I agree the wiser of the lot makes for good backstory. Thanks as always doug!
i just strted Sons and iam gratefull for for your lore videos, concerning the Heel stuff i just wanted to point one out. In Wrestling the Bad Guys are usally called Heel's, so the Big Heel would also be the Big Bad Guy...hm

My plan buy deepkin and one krakeneater sculpt him a yellow raincoat and make him look like the gortons fishermen

No worries. It also gives them the Run/Retreat and charge on 2/4 (or 1/3 with flipped tides, which I think might be the stronger trick)
Now that would be interesting being able to fully run a tank up and then retreat keep opponent chasing around a 35 wound model
