Dr. Bradley Gregory of the Catholic University of America offered remarks on Dr. Michael Barber’s new book The Historical Jesus and the Temple: Memory, Methodology, and the Gospel of Matthew (Cambridge, 2023), evaluating its significance for historical study of Jesus and for biblical theology. Dr. Barber then offered a substantive response.
