Dear tayloralexis... Unfortunately they don't have the slightest clue what things are worth. Additionally they don't seem smart enough to even research stuff in the internet. 50 bucks for an original 1960's Honda Dax and 50 for a Yamaha Chappy 70? C'mom, that's ridiculous cheap. One could earn a fortune by selling most of the stuff (and still keeping a complete workshop and some running cars and motorbikes). Best regards, luck and health in particular.
@@tayloralexis1504 Dear tayloralexis But you are intelligent! Because that's what an old German saying means: "Die dümmsten Bauern ernten die dicksten Kartoffeln"! (= The stupidest farmers harvest the biggest potatoes) 😁 ;-) Don't know if the translation is correct but I'm sure you know what I mean. Sincerely yours. Post Scriptum: I'm absolutely sure, that even such a seller could have made at the very least two times more money. I wouldn't have sold all that stuff for less than 4 thousand bucks. But of course I would've been able to empty the yellow box truck and get it running and driving. 166000 miles is really not much for such a vehicle.
A buddy of mine from Tech school in Florida a few years ago lived in one of these mini truck box trucks while we were in school. He was from somewhere in the DC-Virginia area and his parents owned some kind of furniture business or something and he took one of their old box trucks and built it into a camper and rode his motorcycle back and forth to school, it had everything he needed but a bathroom and laundry, so he lived in a RV park that had bathroom and showers and every Friday after we got out of school I would go get him and his clothes and he would come over and do his laundry and we'd hang out throw some food on the grille and have a couple of adult beverages. good times, there's more room in those things than you think.
Giving JunkyardDigs a run for his money with a vid like that! straight out of the gate with not only a well edited video, but a gold mine of opportunity!
@ElevatedFabworks heck ya! Good luck and I'm absolutely jealous in every aspet. For me, it's my daily I'm having trouble with. So, for you as a work vehicle, I hope it isn't. AC on a 3800 is a pain to deal with without a garage and proper tools.
Came from GHPC stayed because of the quality of the edit and the enthusiasm of Padric and just how genuine he is and how he really loves doing this. In case you're wondering your video has reached me and i'm all the way from the Philippines which is crazy if you think about it. Keep up the good work man!
i absolutely love old toyotas. ive wanted one of these dually trucks for as long as i can remember haha! cant wait to see the transformation this thing undergoes. always nice to see one of these being brought back from the dead!
I liked this video. It is really far from the big sponsored channels with all the corporate limitations and such. Padric is just an honest, easy going, excited guy sharing his adventures; and that is nice. Inspiring even, maybe i'll try to fix my car's horn this weekend after seeing this.
Appreciate it! Glad you liked it. I’d love to get some sponsors for products I’ll use around the shop and even some paid ones to keep the lights on! But time will tell, and hopefully if I do you don’t hate me 🤣
@@ElevatedFabworks not at all man, this is the type of content that deserves it. Hopefully the sponsors can see the potential the same way we, the fans, can. Thanks for the reply man, appreciate it. I'll continue to watch with sponsors if it continues to be this good.
Love the video. The ADHD that kicked in looking at all the stuff he had was all too familiar. Plus the fact you got the truck running and back to your place was awesome.
@ElevatedFabworks if you have an excuse to make it through Minnesota this winter, we've got rally cars that need co-pilots. Add "winter rally Supra" to your bucket list 🤙

Padric, real happy to see you doing your own thing. The Grind Hard crew is insanely good at what they do and are seriously entertaining as well, but you clearly have your own energy to get this going in your own way. I was watching GHPC at only 5k subs just like 7 years ago, which is no time at all for people who work as hard as you do.
I had a truck with rust pretty similar to yours. I hooked up a metal pipe suspended in it and hooked up a battery to use electrolysis and got 95% of the rust out. A few good videos on TH-cam on how to do it but it worked great
On my truck that sat for 8 years, pretty sure the fuel pump wasn't rusted but gummed up with the old gas. The bolts to get the tank out and drained were another story. At least all the sending unit bolts were mint. Was an utter pain getting the right replacement pump. All the auto parts stores listed various wrong ones. She did get back on the road for the first time yesterday. Tires flat spotted like nobody's business. No idea if they'll round out with full air and use or if they're goners.
