Wow this hit home so hard for me. I know all too well the feeling of feeling like you can’t give the attention you want to your first born while caring for a new born. I know its only for a small season but man it does hit hard in the soul

I loved how real everything was. I have a 1 year old and I remember in the early days just scrolling through trying to find someone who was relatable. Thank you so much for putting the time into making these videos ❤❤❤ beautiful

The Snoo is amazing! We rented one when our son had really bad colic and it worked so well. The first time we put him in it, he fell asleep super fast. Within a few minutes. We never went back. He has basically slept through the night once we stopped feeding in the middle of the night. Even now, he basically sleeps by 8 or so and is awake by 6 or 7. He usually wakes us up in the morning when he comes into our room. I would recommend renting one. The Snoo can be over $1000 if you buy one.

I've been watching all of your videos since right before I had my first baby who is now a year old. I'll be having my second baby in a couple months they are 15 months apart. Your channel is one of the only channels I watch. I love you guys and your content. I so wish I could have a tea with you, and visit sometime!
Sending prayers and thank you for all the education and inspiration. My little boy is definitely benefiting from the teaching you promote and lifestyle choices. We have a good team in our life and this video resource is wonderful I thank God for it. I never comment on videos barely ever. I just want to let you know how meaningful some of the content has been to us in our education and life. Thank you :-) may God bless you, and your family.

This is my FAVORITE 24 hours with a newborn video 🥰 thank you for leaving in the parts where you fell asleep. It was so hard to stay awake after being up and down all night and this is the 1st video I’ve come across where the aftermath was shown for real… and the cutting of the hair! I did that too 😅

Currently watching this video holding my 3 weeks old, while he is sleeping! Our „big“ one is 18 months old and life is pretty chaotic right now 😅 it’s „a season of life“ and I’m pretty sure everything is going to be easier in the next months but…it’s tough work! 😊💕

We also combo-fed our baby. The cleaning and sterilizing of all the bottles sure wasn't fun, but it's all worth it if baby is happy and healthy in the end. 😊

Wow! I have no idea how you still have energy to record and fix the videos and take care of two kids. It's really impressive! And I'm truly envious of waking up every 3/4h during the night. I've had at best 2h, mostly 1h and sometimes 0,5h for the past 4m with my 6m old. 😢🥴 Motherhood is difficult.

I am so impressed by this video. Currently holding my 2 weeks old asleep ( I only breastfeed) and looking at how messy my flat is 😅. Clothes on the hanger, dishwasher to load, our bed not done on the morning. It’s motivating to see that routine ❤. I got myself a carrier to hold the baby and get more freedom

Watching your videos is helping me plan and prepare for my first baby. My partner and i have a very small 1 bedroom flat and we weren't sure there's enough space for us and a child, but your montessori home videos have helped me design our space for when we have a baby, a toddler, and when we have two kids. Until both are old enough to need their own separate spaces, i think we can make it work really well with what we have.
This video has made me really think about what our schedule will look like when we have babies. My partner works nights and i work days, and originally i thought that was going to screw us over, but watching this i actually think it will be life saving! I already stay up late anyways so i think I'll try stay up till 12-1 for the last feed then go to sleep with baby, then my partner gets home around 4am so hopefully that will time well for him to take on two night feeds before he goes to bed. Then i wake up about when he goes to sleep and we switch over. He should likely have given baby a feed right before he goes to bed, so I shouldn't have to feed for another couple of hours and be able to either sleep in, get in my morning routine, or get some stuff done around the house.
I was really nervous about becoming a parent, but your channel is giving me the confidence i need that i can do this!

I wish I could know about your channel before, so I would be very prepared for the difficult First Year.
No one told me about the intermittent sleeping times.
But I made it twice 💪.
    Incredibly I don't know how I passed through .
Now my kids are 10 and 8.
This time I'm getting ready for the next battle the adolescence 🧘🙏😅.
My only advice to those women who asked me about this time is "Sleep as much as you can "😂😂.
Greetings to all those mothers in the world.

Congratulations on your baby boy 😊 my 1st 2 months were always the hardest and then I feed constant 2-3h in the day which then kept them full at night then they would give the 7-8h sleep my body craved during the night. You’re doing a great job 👌🏻

I'm glad you are able to breastfeed. My healthy full-term baby was born with problems related to my (I thought well-controlled) gestational diabetes & had to be in the NICU for ~3 weeks until he had the stamina to finish a full meal without the nasal feeding tube. In the meantime I couldn't keep up with regular pumping & dried up *(sigh)* postpartum recovery was hard on me. Oh well.
Loving your channel so very much.
    🙏 thank you for sharing.

    • @jennyjohnson5428

I'm intrigued by the snoo & can totally believe that your baby likes the vigorous movement. Mine apparently loved the highest settings on the mamaroo they had in the NICU. So funny to watch him swooping around in it as though it were a space ship 😂
Milk drunkenness is hilarious & adorable, even though 'premature milk drunkenness' kept my baby in the NICU for so long. Still super adorable.

I don't mean to alarm you, but to give you some information to help your decision about the SNOO... There are reports of adults developing severe health conditions from sleeping with a magnetic field underneath them, which comes from electric currents directly near their bodies for prolonged periods of time, and with continued use (eg from electric blankets), and it seems that the SNOO bassinet also uses electricity, so it may not be safe for a tiny baby's body in the long term...

The machine that you stuck the bottles in is a sterilizer right? But you also boiled the parts. Do I have to boil the parts even if I have a sterilizer?

    • @hazieandmotherhood

Nah.. I dont think it's necessary, but back in the first month, I just felt like I should. Now, I'm just boiling the bottles every couple of months. Honestly, maybe I'm just being a bit of a clean freak about it all.

Oh no what a hassle to sterilize all these bottles and prepare them throughout the day and night. I'm so relieved I never had to do this. Nursing sure proves to be a bit more complicated than I once expected. Maybe one day you'll produce enough milk to at least get rid of a few extra bottle feeds =)

Congratulations on the baby! ❤🎉 I don't normally comment but just to say if you start giving baby formula you need to continue it otherwise you risk your baby developing milk allergy. I was never told when i had my son, so after a few weeks i could exclusively breast feed him and stopped the top ups, he is now alergic to cows milk. I wish i was told as now were struggling with the milk ladder for him and just generally feeding him as everything has milk in it 🥲 anyways, Congratulations again and love your videos ❤

Hi just wanted to add as a lactation consultant mentee and a Registered Nurse that what you said is not true. Mother’s milk does contain the casein protein that is a main trigger for cmpa (cow milk protein allergy). Some babies have it some don’t. Allergies are more connected to genetics more than anything

    • @kristinapilinci562
      @kristinapilinci562 ปีที่แล้ว

@tokee1234567 I was not implying that breastfeeding caused it but the giving of formula and discontinuing it for a while, as I was told by our allergist, I didn't come to that conclusion myself
