Hi Everyone, encoder here. I just wanted to point out that the issue with on screen text still showing up in the over scan is not an emulator issue. Apparently this is a game issue that can happen on real hardware.
can confirm that it does happen on physical hardware i dont think ive ever seen it on my tv (probably because of my settings or i just havent played it that much recently lol) but i captured footage of it once with my capture card and it does happen.
I do not regret to spare tons of hours on this game, even at this day i still keep the 3 games on my Nintendo 64. Really good games who bring up to me a lot of good memories.
yeah but still, music does NOT matter, it's just what the N64 had to deal with, and plus, PS1 looks the worst, has more pop-in than the N64, and has loading screens. I have a point.
Imagine people paying a bunch of money (on release) for a game that can be beat this quickly. Even the latest Pokemon game is beat in under 17 minutes and 30 seconds and that isn't even a TAS.

this also happens with pro skater 1 and 2
I think it would be worth it for you to crop it out or at least cover it up. It is pretty distracting.
@@PASRC unfortunately the menus extend past the overscan screen so that’s not really doable. I’d rather have it as accurate to console as possible.

Yeah, the N64 release is probably the worst since it is on the previous generation despite coming out in 2002 or 2003.
