I got super lucky with the Buddy up event. I got a shiny Feebas & about 30 minutes to an hour later, I got a shiny Illumise & shiny Volbeat within 2 minutes of each other. I was so hype! Hope you get all the shinies you want & stay safe.
So jealous of the Stantler! Had a nest near my house recently, and checked a crazy amount with no luck. The same glitch happened to me during spotlight hour. I think niantic owes us both a shiny wobbuffet 😉!!!
I've been having trouble with my game loading, too. I think its usually when I try and reload the game while in the car driving (not me driving, just my mans). I open it up and it looks like your game did--no spawns, no stops, and no weather icon showing up. It usually works if I'm stopped and I reload it again, though.
