- The Mae Hong Son loop, is it worth doing? Even in the burning season? 100% DO IT!! We had so much fun on this adventure! The roads are perfect and are so nice to ride on!
In this episode we head to Mae Sariang from Chiang Mai and then on to Mae Hong Son.

Not at all! Well, this was in burning season, so there aren't many tourists at all anyway.

Hey, thanks alot! We did this in April. Jan - March is the burning season in the area.
Even in April they were still burning, so we had some days of poor visibility and air quality wasn't great, but we still had a great time and it was nice to have the roads all to ourselves for the most part! Hope this helps, have a great trip!!

Hi Marty! Thanks alot. We just use google maps to find accommodation with good reviews nearby, then we use booking sites to confirm reviews and find the best price possible. Hope this helps!

Are your motor bikes Semi automatic or it's automatic? Can a SUV make it through the loop?
These were automatic and you definitely could do this loop in an SUV, the roads were all well managed and suitable for cars & bikes. Have fun!
