Stop being so creative and clever! (I’m joking, please don’t!) Yet another beautiful and sophisticated pattern I’ll have to make - thank you so much for sharing your creativity and easy to follow instructions.
I've just bought the pattern, such a beautifully crafted skirt. It reminds me of the Estuary skirt tutorial you did which you adapted. I've wanted that version ever since Thank-you .❤
Fantastic! I’ve made gathered skirts that wind up too bulky around the waist. This video shows great detail for a flatter front (and topstitched elastic back). Thank you, Sara, your closeup filming is spot on. ❤
So happy about this -- it's exactly the pattern I've been looking for! I have a few skirts with the flat front / elasticated back and they are both comfortable and flattering, so this is a no-brainer for me.
Sara, I discovered your chanel a few months ago and I love and enjoy working with your patterns! I’m asking myself, as I am working on rhis skirt, if the white blouse you’re wearing in the intro (with the blue one) is as well a creation of yours, and if it is possible to have a pattern for it - it is also so beautiful! Thanks for all (:
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m thrilled you enjoy working with my patterns. As for the white blouse in the intro, unfortunately, it’s a ready-to-wear (RTW) piece, not one of my designs.😅
Wow! I really want to buy this pattern now and use it to re-make a skirt or two of mine. I have some gathered skirts that I made that just aren't quite my style anymore (mainly because I don't want to have to deal with a tight waistband). I also like the slimmer look the pleats give, but how it's not overwhelmingly pleated (and therefore, ironing intensive). How do you keep coming up with such great low-waste patterns?
It’s always exciting to hear when someone is planning to rework their wardrobe with my patterns! I try to design with comfort and practicality in mind while keeping things stylish. Can’t wait to see your remake! 😊🤍🤍🤍
Hello Sara, I just stumbled over your youtube channel, as my daughter intends to sew a traditional Hanbok (with modern impact of her own) as her graduation project. This is a very nice pleated skirt and I like the white blouse very much you wear with the light blue skirt in the video (also with elastic in the back). Is this also selfmade? If yes, would you tell me the pattern? Your videos look great. They show so clearly the individual steps! Congratulations!
I think so! A lightweight stretch fabric would work, but I wouldn’t recommend a heavier one for making a skirt, as it tends to stretch out over time because of the weight. ☺️
Would this pattern work with a really soft satin-y fabric and if so, could I use that fabriv for the pockets and waistband as well or do they need something sturdier?
It should work as long as you’re happy with the weight for the bottoms. You can use the same fabric for the pockets, but I recommend you apply interfacing to give the waistband some structure.
Hi! What a gorgeous skirt! I have just fallen in love with it. And also with the white shirt that you wear in this video. Do you also sell its pattern? Thank you so much.
Ive been looking for something to make as my first project, and I think this will be it! one question, would it be easier to hem the bottom before attaching?

🥰🥰🥰🙌💕
that is a beautiful skirt.

Yes, that modified Estuary Skirt inspired me to make this Ele Skirt pattern! ☺️
Fantastic! I’ve made gathered skirts that wind up too bulky around the waist. This video shows great detail for a flatter front (and topstitched elastic back). Thank you, Sara, your closeup filming is spot on.
❤
😊🙌🙌
Ummm… my waistband is wider than my pleated skirt. I’ll check the sizes that I cut out.
I love this!!! I will eventually be trying this with a heavy fabric linnen. love the pleat options!!!
Sounds good! But don't choose fabric that's too heavy, as it will make the pleat area (your belly) look bulky.😅
Thank you Sara, I just bought your pattern and look forward to sewing it.
I’m excited! I hope you enjoy every moment of sewing your Ele Skirt! 🩷
Just beautiful. Thank you for the tutorial. ❤
You're welcome! I'm glad you like it! 😊

Oh exciting!!😁🙌
É tão gostoso assistir seus vídeos, eles tem o poder até de me acalmar. Espero tanto por eles, costuro pouco, mas já fiz dois vestidos ❤
Thank you! Happy to hear that! 🤍🤍

That white blouse is an old RTW! ☺️
@@SewingTherapy what a pitty😢 That would be a great sewing pattern....
Love this pattern!! Would it also work with stretch fabric?
I think so! A lightweight stretch fabric would work, but I wouldn’t recommend a heavier one for making a skirt, as it tends to stretch out over time because of the weight. ☺️
I will be making this skirt. It is perfect! I'd like to know which pattern for the white blouse with the elasticized back hem?
It’s my old RTW! 😅

Love the pattern!! What fabric did you use in the video? Love how it looks and the colour😍
I used various fabrics! Which one are you looking at? 😁
@@SewingTherapy The light blue one.
Hi! What a gorgeous skirt! I have just fallen in love with it. And also with the white shirt that you wear in this video. Do you also sell its pattern? Thank you so much.
No it’s my old RTW! ❤️
@@SewingTherapy Thanks for your answer.
what kind of shirt do you wear at 18:00? Is there a pattern for this? Best regards to you, love your patterns.
Unfortunately they are my old RTWs!😅
@@SewingTherapy Forgive me but what is RTW?
Where do you purchase the elastic that you use?
I buy it from Amazon or Dritz! ☺️
I purchased the pattern before watching this video and I don't have a serger... Will the seam allowances need to be adjusted?
No it doesn’t need to! ☺️
Ive been looking for something to make as my first project, and I think this will be it! one question, would it be easier to hem the bottom before attaching?
I didn’t quite understand the question. 😅🫣
Better not. You want the side seams sewn first and then the hem
@@annak4314 oh you're right! you answered my question idk what i was thinking
How to buy the patern ?
The pattern link is in the description!
