It's not just the quality of your videos why i follow you here on TH-cam. The main reason is your personality. I simply love the authentic vibes and your courage to try out new things. Again (quit wedding films) and again (this running video). Much love from Germany for you Kraig with a K. ☺️🙌

Thank you so much for this! I really enjoyed sitting watching this with my morning coffee. I feel so blessed that I've been to so many of the places in the video, despite having only been to NYC once, and it made me long to go back. Thank you!

The last time I ran 26 miles it was on accident. I went out onto the track where there was only 1 other person and I decided I'd run until he left. Unfortunately, he was thinking the same thing...

I live in NYC but have pretty much been staying in my neighborhood or staying at a place out of town since March. Normally one of my favorite things to do is to walk around and experience the diverse neighborhoods. Every walk can feel like a visit to a totally different city. Thanks for taking me around town!

Man, I have to say, your videos are amazing as always, but I really prefer 30 frames per second, is more cinematic in my opinion. 60 frames create a strange feeling, like the motion is faster. If I am saying some bullshit sorry, just a observation about it. But as always great work 🤩

I found this video absolutely fascinating! I'm 27 and I've lived the past ~20 years of my life way out in the sticks in Australia (not out in the gross, hot desert-y part - more like ~15km to the nearest place with a small store or ~55km to a town with a couple of larger shops and a clothes shop or two). I've always found cities, in general, fascinating, and NYC maybe most of all. Sure, we have cities in Australia, but with a land area nearly as large as the US but a population density over 12 times less, our cities just can't even compare. That's not to say I dislike them; on the contrary, I love our low population density - I can't imagine the horror of commuting in a city as large as NYC (except maybe by rollerblade, electric skateboard or bicycle), and we just have so much more space to work with so our cities tend to be much less cramped. But with how US-centric the film and television industry is, it's impossible not to grow up seeing and hearing about US cities more than any other. For me at least, this has created an almost mystical, magical impression of NYC. It's hard to describe how it feels. I can't help but look at all those people and wonder how many trillions of thoughts and feelings have lived and died in that place. The history is just so deep. You could live your whole life there and still not know most of it. Maybe that's true of most cities; I've never lived in one so I don't really know. But NYC is just so.... _big_. Idk. I'm not very articulate at the best of times and my feelings about NYC are especially difficult to convey.
Maybe one day I'll get rid of enough _crap_ (accumulating junk seems to be the goal of most people but I've realised it's counter-productive to a happy life) and save enough money to visit the US (although I sort of hope it's less insane over there by the time I have the chance to visit - it's kind of scary currently).
As an interesting counter-point, one of my sisters is basically the opposite of me. She hates cities. She agrees they're great for rollerblading, but she feels claustrophobic with so many people packed into such a small area and couldn't stomach living in one. She can't understand why anyone would even want to visit NYC, haha.

The Brooks Cascadia is a trail shoe; not a hard surface shoe. I have 3 pairs in my current fleet of Brooks. The hard surface equivalent is the Brooks Ghost. I currently have 2 pairs of those and just ordered a 3rd pair, yesterday. I love Brooks shoes, as they’ve completely rid me of plantar issues.
