It all depends on the track. My rule is if you can drive it safely without endangering your car or someone else’s, it’s usually faster to drive it back. If you’re in a bad spot just tow.
I'm thinking the exact opposite. Bob's voice audio is crystal clear while providing minimal commentary--which is good. I like hearing the engine sounds, the tires, the race ambiance so I can get a better gauge on how Bob is driving his various machines.
Passer is responsible for passing safely. That said, I wish you would've looked at that last incident again because I'm pretty sure i know why he hit you. That left turn input needs to be taken in 3rd. Brake at 100 board, downshift to 3rd and on the gas just before the apex. That's the ideal line. I watched your previous laps and you shifted to second in that turn. After you passed him he had no previous experience of you taking that turn in front of him, and as such he had no expectation of you (having tracked him down) to be so slow in that particular turn. You both knowing you are coming to the white flag you know he is trying to get his spot back and as you both take the turn perfectly, he accelerates at the apex in 3rd AT THE EXACT MOMENT you are downshifting to 2nd. I bet on his cockpit view it looks like you brake checked him and i wish we could've seen it from there. ALL THAT SAID, it's still on him for not passing safely, but the lesson i would take from this is to make sure I know the ideal gear to be in for every crucial turn to avoid being ran over by someone expecting you to be at "race pace", so to speak. Feels bad when this happens tho. I got lucky just earlier when i raced this, ruined my Qlap and started 17th (last). Ended up skirting thru the horror and finished 8th with 1x. Got me 1600 IR, so I'm hoping to run into you sometime soon. You vids have helped me because we run the same things at around the same level.
Thanks! Yeah I completely agree with you. I also almost lost it into the corner, so I was extra slow through the corner so I understand why I got hit, but I also agree that he had to pass me cleanly.

I think you need to add “Birds aren’t real” paint jobs to the list with Red Bull and F1 liveries on non F1 cars.
Always watch out for the clones in the default paint.
