I came into the album with low expectations ready for a fun ol time but my god it exceeded anything i thought of for Jazz. Everlight and Eviserate are great non comedy songs but Money is my favourite fully fledged comedy song on the album
You are one of my favourite reaction channels ever, if not my absolute favourite. I love hearing your hyper-analyses of songs I love, because it sounds exactly what I’d say, and I like having little conversations in my head about all the cool details. Just today, I thought “god, I love this song, I *need* to see what Insane Ian thought.” And here I am!
This was a sleeper for me. Listened to the album nonstop until it came out and usually got past this one but now I find that it's actually really great
I highly highly highly recommend listening to The First of October. They don't only do comedy music, i'd say it's about 50/50, but it's all so good. They get together once a year (you can guess what day) and try to make 10 songs in 12 hours. Some of my favorite songs come from their albums.
Lorna Rose is one of the newer additions to No Rolls Barred board game channel, and she's hilarious. I bet Sullivan Beau Brown will be laughing his head off at the whole thing, and it makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
Jazz Emu is genuinely great in the technical field, like every single comedy artist and most videogame topic song artists (Stupendium, Dan Bull, ect) so they have the perfect kit to straight up pop off with everything they do, meaning they have the freedom to do whatever and have it be absolutely amazing, Weird Al being the biggest example, Mr Al is the grandpapa of parody music, and comedy music, to the point they're ridiculously famous :)
I really enjoyed this video and have binged all your jazz emu reactions, and loved them also. A bit surprised you haven't reacted to some of the classics like funkbot 10,000 or you can't make me dance
Thanks! That's mostly because when I started reacting to his stuff, I had seen him live, and he showed those videos during his performance. I may go back and revisit some of them later, tho.
hey Ian!! there's this smaller comedy artist i really really like, but they doesn't do much music videos. still, i think you would get a kick out them in your spare time outside of videos, or maybe keep them in mind if they ever decided to make a music video!! they go by Malcolm IT or Pciphidic (look either one up and you'll find them on different sites) i recommend you start out with "Eating Lightning," "Stuart Little," or "Geomagnetism." they each have their own things to offer, but they're all these kinda hyperfixation songs like Jazz does if you like the first few songs, they're here on TH-cam and on Spotify, and i highly HIGHLY recommend his album "The Monolith." really good stuff if you check them out i'd love to know what you think :)
@@aepuns thanks, I'll def check out the first one you recommended (Malcolm IT) but I've already heard of Lemon Demon and, uh...I'm not a fan. But thanks for the suggestions!
@@Insaneian yeah, that's fair. Lemon Demon is definitely an acquired taste, at least with anyone i've discussed him with. thanks for checking out Malcolm, though!
Last week's batch and this video were recorded way ahead of time due to me being away for the holiday. Since I already reacted to the Game Theory video last week, that just leaves the DREDGE song, and I don't think that one's comedy. Tho, it should hit Patreon in January, at least.
Just a pleasure, thank you so kindly.
Thank YOU for checking out the reaction and making such great music!!
I really appreciate you taking the extra care to disrupt the public the least amount possible, while making an incredible music video.
JazzEmu yo shit are banger asf, let him cook
I drive my roommate nuts with jazz emu, he is my autism comfort music and i listen to him on repeat and giggle the whole time.
He just released a new video today!
4:40 diegetic and non-diegetic I think? Where they either can or can't hear the music playing
I was so excited to hear the full version of this song, ur lil shimmys were relatable af 😅 and the KEY CHANGE 😩 absolutely phenomenal!
soo true 🤣🤣

They also feature heavily on one of my playlists alongside Jazz Emu which is why I thought to suggest it lol

Love your content, you always provide great commentary on some of my favorite songs
Jazz emu or the guy behind Jazz emu: Archie Henderson is one of my favorite comedy music artists. Just exquisite

4:30 you're thinking of the word 'diegetic', not 'didactic'
Yup! I misspoke.
If they ever decided to make a Doctor that wasn't British then I vote for him becoming the first.
But...he is British.
Oh. I thought he was from one of the Nordic countries judging from the accent. My point about him being a good Doctor still stands.
@@9Godslayer As a character, "Jazz Emu" is Finnish. However, Archie Henderson, the person who plays Jazz Emu, is British.
@@Insaneian he isn't. he is definitely from miami, florida, usa and doesn't live in sheringham.

@@Insaneian That would be awesome! I'd love to see you do Dream of You :)
Good to see you react to it! Jazz Emu is a genius. 🥲 Love your commentary on everything I've watched.
Great video I've been watching you for a while and i really enjoy watching comedy musician reacts👍
great reaction as always
amazing work ! can you please do D.H.A.R.N.T.Z. by jazz emu ?
I plan to!

4:17 is it not pronounced 'die-ah-je-tic' ? I've never heard it pronounced the way you did...
That's because I said the wrong word 😅
YOU'RE *JOKING* I WAS JUST HOPING THIS WOULD HAPPEN
bro this might just be the best day of this year
He just released a new video
Oh, I know. I'll get to it soon.
I'd like to recommend wacky world by zamnation
The start of the video was a bit heavy to watch, but i really stayed to the end for your good explanations
Have you done a reaction to jazz emu's Dharntz?
Not yet, but that's coming soon!
The term is diagetic
Yup! I thought I might've misspoke...after the fact 😬😅 thanks.
Please react to his shorts especially "most offensive word in the English language".
I don't usually react to shorts because they're usually...well, too short.
@@Insaneian he has tons of them you could combine into a single video.
Jazz emu is so underrated, its not even funny.
Also, when are the next stupendium reactions?

diegetic not didactic
