Man!!! That Winter Warz verse is CLASSIC!!! That's something that you should add to the show. I would have loved to hear Bun-B do his verse from Murder.
Wonda woman is actually my mom. Shes featured on wutang forever the very first song wu revolution. She also wrote the hook and sung for tragedy… on the original version. She was RZA”s official songwriter back at 36 chambers.
I'm a grown-ass man, and every recent Wu interview has been seriously eye-opening. EACH of these cats have life stories and life lessons to share, and express themselves in ways that are real AF, not trying to be tough guys, but expressing how tough life can be.
Cappadonna is one of my favorite artists. The way he blends his unique slang with a range of diverse topics is exceptional. Christmas came early with this indeph interview!
I watched this interview MORE than once. Cappadonna played SUCH a special part of the Wu, that many don’t know. Thankfully the other Wu members in other interviews I’ve seen uplift Donna, that his part……was not forgotten, and not in vain. 🐝

SUCH a great interview! SO very appreciative of the fact that you folks did this one… I’ve always felt that Cappa was a slept-on talent, that he was someone with legendary tracks and verses, and that just in general he seemed like someone with depth and character.. Someone whom you could interview and it would actually be worth the time because he’d give you quality material. May the Almighty preserve this man and his contributions to the culture 🤲
Talib, this podcast needs to keep going on and on and on... it's perfect man. We all know you have so many other greats to interview. I really expect to be enjoying your interviews years from now. Stay well, friend.
Cappadonna was the dude who was rapping before all the wutang members and won all the competitions including against RZA & GZA. He inspired a lot of members to rap.
Another 🔥 interview Talib and Jasmine. I forgot how lyrical Cappadonna was. His word play and vocabulary is impeccable. His influence to the Wu-Tang will never be forgotten. Glad to see Cappa is in a good place. Thank you for another great episode guys.

@@AF-Twice And Remedy ;-) Really though, extended Wu bingo would be great, and it would be cool to see Remedy on that, not just because of that thing on Twitter. Dude's been around for ages, being close to Lounge Lo & Cap, RZA, Solomon Childs. And sure comes from a different angle.
I love listening to Cappadonna and Raekwon interviews. They are thorough and wise minds; real divine masculinity. My male friends are these types, very conscious, with inner peace and power.

I blasted "Slang Editorial" so much when it first came out, The Pillage in general, until certain friends I went to school with until this day call me Cappa or Cap or C The Don Donna. I'm like those are his aliases but they knew since Ice Cream I was saying he's going to kill the game when he drops his solo. And my first rap name was "Pachino." I changed it because his name was "Cappachinno."

Real tough guys should never have to be tough all the time just at the right times. 💯 R.I.P. to my father, a true example of that.

Days of Old🎶 🔥🔥🔥
Cappa you never failed in your marriages those woman where the right woman for that time in your life your next wife is going to be your soul mate...the one that finishes your thoughts as you speak. Salute you King, I've been a fan of yours since the Pillage...you always feed the people the energy of the people...that's why we relate. 1 Love my Brother.. Wu Tang Forever.
I swear Cappa’s voice is so unique, he got one of the dopest rap voices ever
Cappadonna one of my favorite and an original MC! P.S. baby girl do look good on this episode lol.
What baby girl? That woman looks in her 50's
@@AndreiBerezin Chill😂😂😂😂… Baby girl just a term of expression…
CAP a Goat with all the WU members.. i dont ever think he was underrated.. he gets busy with all them.. WuForever BoroPark Brooklyn
Always felt they should have had Cappa do the hook on the Ghost / Jada version of Run.
Great talk, everybody 👐🏽
SALUTE!!
One of the realest! Big Cap!! Great interview Talib and Jasmine.
They definitely should have put Donna in the “ Run” 🏃🏽♂️ video and track.
30:59 The Pillage is synonymous with Run... Hella dope track. Classic grimmy RZA production.
Wu Tang is something that floored me as a kid and your family is a good era start with a lot of suburban kids
Wow to hear him speak on a failed marriage is humbling
I MET YOU BOTH MC'S IN THE VIRGIN ISLANDS IN 2001 ST.THOMAS.
PEACE from The VIRGIN ISLANDS ✊✊✊
Dope , Talib took his time to listen to “Hook Off” Salute to Wonda Woman /Selima Young! A dope female MC from the WU camp🐝

TELL IT!!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
"Wu-Tang indispensable
One nation under God
Indivisible
With liberty and justice
The mic is in my clutches
Thugs who bring ruckus leave in crutches
Unforgivable snakes face the double-edged swords starts to swivel
Decapitates the head, makes the projects more livable
Interchangeable, caution: flammable
My chamber is ninety-nine plus one unnameable angles
And strangles, microphone cords start to dangle
Silent as the gases that pass throughout your anal
Retreat through your doors
Seep out like sweat through the pores
Destroy your internal organs with the biological warfare" -The RZA "Assasination Day" - "IronMan - Ghostface Killah (1996)
Makes me smile n cry , at the same dam time
Talib, listening to you since young, I just wanna say thank you for documenting us in the highest light. Peace God, I hope to work with you one day. Got beats for you.
