  • This is a warming, comforting and absolutely delicious soup to be enjoyed piping hot. So much flavour is added with the roasted vegetables and the lentils, finished with mascarpone cheese for the depth and creaminess.

    It’s another time of the year. One need to set goals and take a bold step in achieving them. Remember success are not obtained overnight. It’s comes in installments; you get a little bit today a little bit tomorrow until the whole package is given out the day you procrastinate you lose that day of success.

      My portfolio is very much diversified so it's not like i have a particular fund i invest in. plus i don't do that by myself. i follow the trades of KAREN GAYE GRAY. She is a popular broker you might have heard of. I can correctly say she's worth her salt as a financial adviser as her diversification skills are top notch/ I say because i see that in her results as my portfolio grows by averages of 10 to 15% on a monthly basis. unlike i can say for my IRA which has just been trudging along. my portfolio just mirrors what she
      trades and not just on some particular industries of my choosing.

    I just made that soup (almost just like your recipe). Really good! I like to flavor with salt/pepper/other spices one bowlful at a time. I added cumin, and a little bit of related spices, to the first bowl. Very comforting. I also added a half cup of rice to the whole batch2, because I am not making bread. Finally, I used small black whole lentils - black and white and red all over.

    What is the oven temp? 170 Celsius? That is not 150 F but 338 F. Not sure what you meant by fan though. Wish you'd use volume in addition to mass to describe amounts. Otherwise, I'd be guessing. I don't need to add a scale to my kitchen counter!

    • @2learn4ever
      @2learn4ever 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      She means a fan oven. " A fan oven uses a fan to circulate hot air, and a conventional oven uses radiant heat from burners or heating elements" - I got that for you from Google. Cooks in the UK use scales, Google will convert for you. When I use an American recipe I have to convert to weight, you just have to do it in reverse. Different countries use different methods but Google is your friend, or buy a kitchen scales.

    never, ever heard temp referred to in 'fan" before; obviously, there is no such thing as the fan temperature scale (we have F, C, K, and a couple others, but not fan). thus I looked it up (for myself and anyone else confused by this) and apparently it refers to C but in a convection oven with the fan on. Thus, the temp setting varies a bit from the C setting you would use for the same task in a non-convection oven. Lesson learned for today, and it is only 1:50 am.

    • @paulwomack5866
      @paulwomack5866 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You've probably heard of "wind chill" in weather reports, were the effect of the wind moving the cold air makes the cooling effect more powerful than still air at the same temperature.
      A fan oven uses the same moving air effect to increase the heating effect of hot air.
      It's common to use a temperature difference of 20c to allow for this fan effect.
