David Stern was more strict and held teams and players accountable for stuff like missing games (especially marquee and nationally televised ones), dress codes, constant foul language at press conferences, trade demands, etc. There needs to be a better balanced commissioner. Maybe not as strict as David Stern but certainly not as lenient as Adam Silver. The way things are right now the players are ruining it for the future.

@@ZackFlairr The main problem is the commissioner. Adam Silver is too nice and lets the players get away with too much. David Stern was more strict and held teams and players accountable for stuff like missing games (especially marquee and nationally televised ones), dress codes, constant foul language at press conferences, trade demands, etc. There needs to be a better balanced commissioner. Maybe not as strict as David Stern but certainly not as lenient as Adam Silver. The way things are right now the players are ruining it for the future.
