Your most of people always seen only India's problem because your so called Media all show that how india incompetent, genocide in india ,hindu nationalist government, minority isn't safe in india, india remain still poor. tell me i am right
India is the only country left in the world whose culture could neither end the rule of 500 years of Islamic invaders nor Western Colonial Powers. Western power has looted so much wealth from India that the entire wealth of America also falls short and research well that who was the richest country in the world from the beginning of human civilization till 17th century. And if the Western Powers had not looted India would have been the richest country even today. Find out for yourself whether your culture and religion which was 2500 years ago is still there today? Our drama and culture is still the same as it was 2000 years ago or 5000 years ago. And how many lies were spread to eradicate this culture, like look at the Aryan theory, the genes of Europe and India do not match, yet by spreading the lies of Aryan theory, an attempt was made to prove that Europe settled India. Was. Your media says that we were only cow herders, I would say go and read Sushruta Samhita, after translating which you made a false discovery of plastic surgery in the 18th century, which our scientists discovered 2600 years ago.
You told in 16th century that earth is round from all sides but we are studying geography for 4000 years and know what is the name of geography in our language bhugoal in this bhu means earth in our language and goal in our language Means round. The atoms that you discovered in the 17th and 18th centuries were discovered by our scientist Kanad 2300 years ago. Newton discovered gravity in the 17th century, our scientist Bramgupta did it in the 5th century itself. And you will easily find the books written by him on the internet as well. Do your own research.
All the discoveries of Europe came about only after the translation of these books. Also think that if your media will tell you good things about India, then you will do research about India and you will know the real truth. Apart from your one-sided historian, doing research, you will easily reach the truth. I have taken the names of all the scientists. Read his own book written specially sushrut book 'sushrut samhita' first known plastic surgeon in 6th century BC , but for that learn Sanskrit, the best language of the word, after that you will understand his books. The English translation has been written in a biased way.

A little farther out you can see how the game is being played in Israel. China took over the new container port in Haifa, which led to India buying the old port in Haifa right next to it. If either China and/or India invest in building the rail line from Haifa via Jordan to Dubai, this will be a game changer for shipping traffic into and out of the Med to the Indian Ocean, bypassing Suez.

It is very crucial for India that China remains very strong for another two decades. Basically upto the point that India becomes a middle income country. If China fades before that, then India will no longer get the support of the West it is getting now and will start to be looked at as a potential threat only. Right now the West has no choice but to support India since China is the real threat but once the China danger is gone, so will be the support of the West. Indian economy needs to become sufficiently large before the West treats India as an enemy again.

That is what I was also thinking. USA has already declared that it will compete with China upto the next two decades. Looks like they expect Chinese power to wane after that. We Indians do not realize that demographically we are at a position where China was in the 1990 and economically we are exactly where China was in 2005. This means we have a solid five decades to rely on our consumption driven growth. US knows it very well that India is capable of attracting migrants to sustain population growth and that is why the real threat is India not China.

By the end of the 3-5 decades of India's demographics (doubt the 5 decades as India's birth rate is already below the replacement capacity of 2.1), would this happen would be a huge question mark. India's pharmaceutical sector among others has potential in this sphere, I'm sure, but a lot of work has to be done. I personally think, the Indian education should be more educated in English as well. Right now only 10% of Indian population can speak fluent English, education quality should change to increase it to at least 50%. This would entice English speakers, as perhaps a cheaper alternative to US/UK/Canada/Aus/NZ etc.

In my opinion, they used China to counter against Japan's financial might of the 1980s. But Japan wasnt communist & even has a pacifist constitution that ensures they will never ever be a military threat, instead those 2 risk factors China possessed, and now has turned into a global military threat. It foed not have the nsvy long range air combst power area denial or missile defense capabilities to defend the bases it is building at its bases at the Strait.
Nor does it have the scientific or financial re s ourses to adequately construct defend or resupply these bases from Chinese attack.
What everyone seems to forget is the lesson the Japanese learned in the 3 chain island defense strstegy that they employed in WW2.
      That lesson is brutally simple.
An island is only as strong as the finite resources placed on it BEFORE immediate hostilities begin. If the opposition has sufgivient naval air and amphibious redources to out match the islands finite defenses then what was formerly a defensive island for the original occupier becomes a deathtrap for the defender and then an offensive platform for the new occupier..
A sudden attack bh hypersonic heavy missiles followed by a naval task force with significant amphib capability and the Chinese own the Mslaccs Strait. Not surprisingly Japan, US and Australia are engaging with india via the quad... it is highly likely that many of these deals are also being encouraged by quad members. Philippines, for example, is likely being influenced by the US to deal with India.

The Caspian Report said that the String of Pearls (China's Indian Containment Strategy) was a stronger policy than the Necklace of Diamonds (India's Chinese containment strategy).
In that case, it would make sense if India concentrated its efforts on fewer regions than China to produce better quality relations. India has a diaspora in ASEAN that can help it gain connections needed to develop partnerships there. Developing ties with the middle-east can help secure Indian energy security. There is a lot of Indian labour, which works in some Gulf Arab states and provides remittance. Any skilled migrants in the middle-east can help develop Indian connections in the Gulf region and help India gain influence. Especially, Arab states since that is where most of India's labour is concentrated.
So if India aims for depth in relationships rather than the number of relationships, then they can create better outcomes.

Yes, that is a good point. Many of the Chinese in Malaysia are from the South of China and are part of subgroups like Hokkien and Cantonese speakers.
Southeast Asia could become a site for competing influence (not war) between India and China like you say. This could work to ASEAN's advantage as by not overcommiting to one side, they can remain independent and gain from trade from both India and China. A multipolar foreign policy can help ASEAN manage competing interests

For India and China, choking the other sits at the core of their geopolitics, whether by a String of Pearls or a Necklace of Diamonds. Both seek to dominate the Asia Pacific and leave the other's economy in the dust.
Like a majestic castle, India stands tall and proud but its long winding coastline exposes it to the elements. The Indian Ocean accounts for nearly a fifth of the water on the Earth's surface. It spans three continents, and 28 countries and is a major route for international trade connecting the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. And while the Indian Ocean brings prosperity through trade, it also served as a point of entry for Colonial powers in the past.

Good choice for Japan as an ally in this. Japan has invested more in infrastructure across the area than China with lower interest rates in addition to upping their defense spending since Russia and NK look to pick a fight with them. There would certainly be benefits to both Japan and India.

@@no_more_spamplease5121 That would be more iffy, I think. But I've never been there. They do have programs for immigration if you work in certain sectors, or did pre-pandemic. There's a lot of good visiting/moving to Japan channels, but the ones I've seen are geared towards Western audiences. I read my share of translated manga, but obviously those aren't the greatest sources for that kind of info, lol.
