My laptop is working great with no more noise alert because my fan and heat sink are not working. I had to shut it down and rebut it again. Once I rebooted it, it went into the BIOS and I was able to reconfigure it. It booted up again and everything is working great.

How do I know if it's time to change my fan? it doesn't make weird noises, but when I run heavy software the fans work really loud, is that normal? is there a way to check the functionality of the fans? Plus, can you please recommend a RAM brand? I want to upgrade and add another one as I have had a free slot for it for years. Thanks!

This video is super helpful! The touchpad on my 7577 has just started causing the mouse to erratically move and click on its own, and the screen now has a pink hue down the left 1/6th of the screen. Can you suggest any actions to try and resolve these issues? I'd rather not buy a new laptop!

I have the same laptop ang I have re-applied thermal paste already but still, when Im gaming CPU reaches 95 degrees Celsius and when idle it's around 55-64 degrees celsius, I dont think my heat sink is working properly. It's such a waste because It still works fast but everytime I wanna play games I can gain 60fps which is pretty smooth already and then suddenly drops to 12fps because of the overheating. any advice?
I don't own the computers I work on, so I have no way to give you that info. Maybe check if the fan is working properly and make sure dust isn't blocking the heatsink air output.
Exactly what I have with this gaming laptop. In 8 months I had to bring it for repair 2 times, and it was always overheating. The technician said it's because the cat hair that goes into the laptop, but when I was using it somewhere else without animals it started to overheat again. It is hard to realize, but I feel like this laptop is not good for gaming.
I have the same problem with mine. Me and my sister both have this model and we both have a lot of trouble with thermals and overheating. So its probably just this model of computers.

Main thing is the battery and holding the power button. If you can't figure out what needs to be removed to remove the heatsink, follow the video exactly. I don't want to tell you steps you can skip and then you end up breaking something and blaming me.

Hi, I'm trying to disconnect the battery for the first time and watching your video known that you don't have my own problem so I ask for information. At about 1:20, after you have detached the battery there is a red strip, in my case the end of that thing is gluedly glued with obvious battery glue. I don't know if at the beginning it was so for you too. Can you tell me something about it? What should I do to get away from the battery? Thanks in advance.
I had the same problem! I just carefully pulled the battery up from the end nearest the hardest drive to slowly peel away that keyboard cable that was stuck to the battery. Make sure to not bend the battery much, try to keep it as straight as possible as the last you want is a fully charged battery exploding.

My laptop fell down . It didn't start for the first day . It blinked in a pattern which internet says that indicates cmos battery problem. I opened it and didn't close the back properly. It work fine the next day . I downloaded Nvidia driver and then closed the back panel and now it's sooo much slow . Ultra sluggish . Can you suggest what's the problem

@@Dada-gk9ic you'll likely have to back up data and do a clean install. You can try a system restore point.

Need to replace the screen, battery is probably bulging and pushing on the trackpad. Likely need to replace the battery.

I have the same problem :( I undervolted and cleaned for dust, havent reaplied paste cuz im scared, but the temps are still very high.

Sadly it's not designed for gaming. For that Dell makes alienware laptops. One alternative is to play games on a fridge or turn the ac down. :(

No glue, just screws.

probably failing hard drive. Check disk activity in the task manager. If at 100% a lot, your hard drive is dying.

It's not my laptop. I repair these for a living. For most people anything beyond 8gb is overkill. I recommend upgrading to an SSD instead.

I had to stop at removing the wireless card, because the screw was too damn tight, the drive of that screw is damaged by my screwdriver
