Liam, you beauty! The year with you and thousands of viewers with some great, traditional video footage. The return of the pink shoes, teeth brushing (x2), tea making (x2), one pan cooking, a banana for breakfast (in much better condition than usual!), the tent that looks so frail, a philosophical look at life ... thank you, don't change anything!! Greetings from Cape Town!

Having just discovered your wonderful channel some compliments are in order. First and foremost, the actor who plays you. Terrific. Then of course the camera operator who doesn’t miss a shot. The script writer who provides just enough, but not too much. Also the chef, even if it’s just hot water in a bag. And the makeup person who must insist you always smile and never complain.
I’ll be doing some catching up and wishing you safe travels, and thanks.

    Hi Liam,
The reason the sound was so clear that morning is probably due to something called a temperature inversion (warm air traps cold air)… you may also smell things from far away when this happens, very much enjoy the videos!

Tip, fry the meat a lil first to brown it then put it aside. Cook veg as you did then put meat back. At the very end put tomatoes because otherwise it'll virtually stop the meat from cooking through. If you can carry it, put a lid to simmer, saves loads of gas. Voila.
