It looks like Seth could stall for a couple turns with emeria and martyr hoping for Brad to time out first, but without many real outs he just did a gentleman's play and conceded.
I mean, he had the out of just solitude in graveyard to inf snipe off the treats until Brad answered it and if Brad used karn to answer it. It would have killed his karn. In truth, Seth, I think, was just being a good guy and conceding as he didn't want to beat Brad by time. Which is 100% how Seth would have won.
I think in Seth's position game 1, I would have haymire mite exiled the shadowspear instead of 1 ring. Brad was at 7, so he'd go down to 5 (probably 4 since ya gotta tap the ring lol) without a way to recover the life. This would mostly shut down future rings and being able to use dismember unless he uses both swamps for it
