Game have much more options then vocal minority tells us about. Game is really fun. I am taking a break after 100 hours for BG3 but will come back for more apoc
This is a crazy discovery for the bore mod! Nice find. I may release a build video based around this. I’ve already managed to get the knuckle dusters to hit for around 8k so I can’t imagine what they’d hit with bore lol
Wait hold up, is the Drill a separate entity and basically lets you effectively hit the boss multiple times with a single attack? If so this could be pretty dirty with explosive weapons or weapons with piercing shots.
Haymaker, it adds bonus melee damage, you find it in Root Earth in the first fogged-off arena with all the storage cars. Super not necessary for the build, you could replace both it and Fae Warrior ring with whatever else you want; survivability, quality of life, Zania's Malice, etc
It really isn't, though. Knuckle Dusters, Rebellion Spear, Huntress Spear, Stonebreaker, World's Edge, Iron Greatsword... All of these are far superior options that don't require the Quilted Heart to enable. This is just me doing funny spin moves because haha helicopter 🚁
the duration is so short that you need to charge attack every other attack if you want consistent 100% uptime on the gimmick, which means you will run out of stamina constantly without the quilted heart, which means the sword does nothing without your relic active. Just use the Ornate Blade instead and build for crit.
@@jadeviper1290 if you're comfortable playing the game without ever being hit, sure, use the bisected ring. For everyone else, that 25% more damage taken is absolutely not worth it, especially for a melee build, ESPECIALLY for a melee build that uses a weapon where you're expected to use poise to tank and take trades. Nightshade does have the highest base crit chance, yes, but since all of the crit bonuses you can get in the game are additive instead of multiplicative, that doesn't matter much for a crit-based build. You could use Nightshade and reach 88% crit chance or so under ideal conditions, or you could use the Huntress Spear and have 76% crit chance, the same attack speed, way more base damage, better range, and a ranged attack. The lifesteal gimmick on neutral evades just isn't enough to compete with the other better melee options in the game right now. If you want, you can check my channel to see me use Nightshade against Apocalypse Faelin. Understand that I defeat him quite easily, and then understand that despite that, there are other melee weapons that can clown on him way WAY better. World's Edge, Stonebreaker, Rebellion Spear, Atom Splitter...
This is very true. An asterisk I would attach to any melee build that doesn't utilize ranged gimmicks like Huntress Spear or World's Edge or Hero Sword is that you shouldn't invest ANYTHING in a melee build before you have a ranged build completed, because a ranged build can do all of the game's content but a melee build can't even interact with half of the game's bosses. That being said, when a boss CAN be hit by melee weapons, it's very fun to do so.
Ornate Flail is not the most optimal choice to abuse this, but it is definitely the most fun choice.
When Simon Belmont enters the wrong game but is already committed.
didnt expect a castlevania reference in remnant 2 but here i am
Tryhards: Hunter and gunslinger is the only combo for apoc
This dude: flail go brrrr

How do knuckle dusters go brrr?
@@Alticroo if you use the rings that increase unarmed damage you can get some pretty nutty damage
Don't forget to drop both bores for triple damage
@@YourSponsor Yeah this is actually crazy. I can imagine hitting 30k or so with knuckle dusters using this. Will mess around with that later
@@YourSponsor yes I spotted that yesterday when I was playing and it clicked that this is an elite mod for melee builds.
BTW the bore double hit seems to work on skills too, challengers "War Stomp" double / triple hits with bore
Any mods tripple hit? Like maybe Starshot?

So this is why Kaeula is crying.
This is amazing, I can't believe the dmg either xD
I did a similar thing with the flail when I used it on the Nightweaver.
Mulched her in seconds, it was hilarious.

How do you manage to use several buffs at the same time with a duration of 120 minutes?

Yeah but when you get to a boss that floats or you can't melee, you're forced to adapt. AFAIK.
