    WHAT IS GRID?
It is a true team sport where players accomplish feats of fitness in a game consisting of several short, fast, and extremely exciting races. Men and women compete together on the same team and players showcase their strengths as their role on their team.
GRID is full of impressive athlete movements that are used as elements in exciting races. It’s considered one of the hottest new sports to try and one of the only coed team sports to exist.
In GRID, overall fitness is not a requirement to excel. Specialists (often focused on a certain range of movements) thrive just as much as utility players (often well rounded and generally fit). The strength of the team overall is how well they are coached, strategize, gel together, and are properly suited physically to perform well.

A lot of comments say it's useless, or maybe they're jealous. Yes it's a bit easier doing momentum movements than a fully controlled movement (that is actually slightly harder, and adds more resistance), but if you wanted to jump or be in a 'real' situation where you'd be doing any of these movements, you'd probably not be doing some slow controlled movements. I think it's harder than it looks, and you actually have to be fit to do these movements. Fitness is not only for 1-way strength and guys who are 7 feet tall tbh, and there are many things traditional movements can't do that these athletes probably can. Also I think they are very sexy too so even if looking from a female standpoint, they're actually very fit and healthy. Becoming fit and healthy is the goal, perfect forms and doing things a traditional way doesn't matter if you are gaining; even if you want to question why they are doing things that seem new or weird, you may not even be able to do it; it may also seem useless but in my experience it's like most people would struggle to even do 1/3 or 1/2 versions of some of these movements.

Those are certainly movements you can do if you’re so inclined, but I’m confused as to what’s being demonstrated.

These movements are elements in a team race. A series of these races are what makes up a match which is an event the sport of Grid League. Learn more here - th-cam.com/video/wtiHMRz-e7k/w-d-xo.html

It's all about the challenge. Being able to do a chin up or dead lift is older than your grandfather. Need new challenges to keep it interesting. CrossFit has their 300 squats which is boring as hell to watch though a feat to do

It seems like that very hard jarring of the arms would be very detrimental over time.
