What about the security of cloudpanel? Does it have the same security as cyberpanel (ModSecurity, CSF, ImunifyAV)? Can you install additional security? Or does cloudpanel already have sufficient security.

When I choose Ubuntu in Oracle free tier is "Canonical model". when I try to install Cloud panel on the server, I get an error because the commands you gave are for another ubuntu model.

Hi! This works for the first website but for the 2nd website I got the problem: I created new instance for the second website, then when I reach the "while it's installing we can actually go to our instance and go to our virtual cloud network" when I do this I see that the steps regarding vcn are already performed (probably from the first website), so I just skip them but when I reach steps regarding cloudpanel it just don't load "the connection has timed out" and when I try to reboot I get following in Patty
"Failed to set wall message, ignoring: Interactive authentication required.
Failed to reboot system via logind: Interactive authentication required.
Failed to open initctl fifo: Permission denied
Failed to talk to init daemon."
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Mac has a terminal software included, just learn how to use that 👍

👍👍 Hi Alex! Installing CloudPanel first with their self signed ssl to get access to the panel, then create cloudflare ssl for the whole panel and your wordpress site is that right?
With these free panels, most like shared webhosting have a database memory size limit of max.1GB, but when you plan to writing more than 10-20.000 posts you will exceed the database size. How can I increase the database size in CloudPanel?
I've copied my certs in and set it to full (strict) and yet it still gives me 526 bad ssl/tls cert.

Cloudflare WAF rules get triggered when I try to edit wp-config.php file through the cloudpanel file manager. I am able to edit all other files though.
Any work around for this issue?

Only thing is one of my VULTR servers I had cloudpanel on it was hacked, as a CVE exploit was used to do a DDos attack, Vultr support told me this is also happened with many others, guess you do need to keep stuff updated, it's a shame the panel didn't do this automatically. Needless to say killed the server and won't use again. Worth doing a video to let others know it's critical.

Just gotta say - It was wort it.
I went with a less powerful instance, yet gtmetrix scores are lower then with Hestia.
I meant the loading times are better. Score's are higher!
And the backend (wp-admin) feels much snappier.
Also, much easier to add additional sites I think.
I'm idle in the Discord - it seems nice, whilst Hestia developers seemed a bit "tired" when being contacted.
All in all - Your guidance 10/10.
That’s great feedback, sorry for the late reply - I think I would just use a migration plugin to export my wp sites and move them over - I don’t have a strong preference for either panel at this stage - but good to hear your experience
@@IdeaSpot Ended up using All-in-One WP Migration - an older version that allows bigger file sizes for import.
Current Oracle Always Free setup. Both instances with Ampere.
* 3x OCPU/18GB RAM/150GB storage.
Running CloudPanel and a bunch of small websites in great speed.
* 1x OCPU/6GB RAM/50GB storage.
Planning to run Flarum on this instance.
It's a really nice forum software.
Not sure if I'm able to get it running within CloudPanel (I'm a n00b), so might run it as a standalone.

Probably plesk would be my choice, but hestia seems like a fine free alternative - I don’t see any issues with cloud panel so far but it’s a bit newer than others but it seems fine
Incase you getting Login "invalid credential" just enter the username in lowercase. Was stuck here for hours
why mail box can't receive gmail emails
Can not signup on Oracel Cloud. When I enter payment details they charge me $1 and then return my payment back to my account in less than one minute. When I click on sign up button they say transaction failed. I can not sign up anymore. I tried multiple debit cards.
Check their list of cards they accept, plus, make sure you're card is not due to expire in a few months.

I got banned on oracle cloud for no reason, they told me that my account was terminated by an administrator, but won't specify the reason, this happened a couple of moths ago after using it for 3months. I have yet to get it unbanned, contacted support, yet to get a proper response, just dodging the questions I ask. Any suggestions on how to get unbanned because there isn't a clear way to do it, they told me to use a different card and create a new account which is absurd.
same, was just hosting a minecraft server, they even have a tutorial for that lmao
thats a shame, this is always a problem with free stuff, the level of service is basically zero. They can cancel for pretty much any random reason, it might not even be your fault, it could be suspicious traffic unrelated to your use.
@@IdeaSpot That's why i switched to a different payed platform, Contabo, greatest bang for the buck out there honestly, where else can you get 4vCores 8GB ram and 50GB Nvme or 100GB ssd, for only 5$, not to mention the 32TB of free outgoing traffic.

A free VPS with 1 core and 6 GB of ram? what's the catch? from experience I know that cheap and free comes out more expensive later.
this is a good tutorial but ur going too fast and not explaining what ur doing when u type and select things so it goes by too fast even in .5 speed
Just lies. I made an account. it was free for the first month. after that 4 euro's a day! 30 day are free. then youi ALWAYS pay. not thing is free like he sais in his other clips and i am sure he know that. I had just an EMPTY wordpress installed with no content at all!
