I want to see a harley Davidson skate shoes review. I may have mentioned that before but I don't remember.
It's kinda wild to hear someone say dwindle brands are known to be cheaper quality. Back in the 2008-2010 days, Almost and Darkstar were my go too. And they had a rep for sure. But lets be honest, skate brands really live and die by whatever is trendy in that moment in time.

Reason it lasted 5 weeks for you bro, is the Canadian maple they use. Dwindle is known for it. Also every almost, enjoi, darkstar, and blind boards are single pressed using epoxy resin. Wayyy lighter than so many competitors. Ive used almost for around 14 or 15 years now. The concave is insane, which is what I love the most. Brother. You should try some globe ct4 shoes with that set up. Fucking crazy feel. Lol. Keep it up bro.

I love almost 3rd month of using it and it still holding up and i skated almost everyday. Just use light trucks since it's on the heavy side.

The best board I've ever had was an Almost skateboard back in 2005-2006. Since then I have tried other brands and stopped skating. Now on the first of january 2021 I just ordered another Almost deck.
What are your opinions on Plan B boards? That would probably be my number 2 :)

Literally just ordered an almost complete from skatewarehouse for 50 bucks.. got the skatewarehouse blank this week and my son got so jealous so i HAD to get another.. he can use the 7.75 white and i will skate the 8" almost.. tensor trucks im hoping are as good or better than skatewarehouse trucks.. wheels are a bit soft,but i can always swap them.. looking forward to skating mkre and more ;)

Strange to hear those brands have a bad rep. Maybe those brands have a bad rep due to the cheaper completes. I haven't ridden one but i would suspect theres many around.
The single decks I had from those brands have been pretty good. I skated an enjoi late winter and a darkstar in early spring. Both resin 7 and both pretty good. I think Enjoi also does single deck press which has a higher consistency and is more expensive than multi deck pressing. Both boards kept pop for a long time. I do have the impression this is due to the epoxy.
I think you are absolutely correct. The bad rep most likely comes from someone who paid for a complete and assumes that the brand as a whole is a cheaper quality. It really is too bad because I do like Enjoi and Almost

I wonder why blinds are considered so lowly, they seem to be made the same as all other brands, plus the completes I've seen come with tensor trucks stock. They were the shit when I was younger and im sure they're still made the same. So much confusion for me lol as it seems all these brands come from the same couple places all made of 7 ply maple.
@Ethan Willey eh I disagree, that was just the style back then. Look at how cartoonish world industries graphics were/are. I think it's just the classic case of the new generation thinking anything from the previous generation is lame.
