Metallic oil coming from the gearbox is pretty normal, especially after a long time not changing it. I don't think it's anything to worry about unless you get actual chunks of metal / gear teeth fall out with the oil
That looked like a lot of metal in the oil. One of the problems is that those metal particles get into the bearings, as I found on my Clio 172.... There are often refurbished gearboxes on the Clio owners forums. Hope you get it sorted at not too much expense...

Didn’t check the oil in that much depth but it didn’t look great! Will see what comes of it… 🤞🏻

@@jwmeale3058 I had the gearbox on mine refurbished at AW MOTORWORKS in Essex. They're a brilliant company.
Bit of a nightmare then...sorry to hear!
Yeah that’s alright, didn’t expect anything less! It’s my bad in some ways. Will get it sorted nice knew clutch and be off 💪🏻
hey how much would you be selling it for ?
God knows, may end up keeping it a little longer depending on how well it goes this week 😂
Get a Clio they say clios are fun they say 😂
I keep telling myself that 😂 they are fun, it’s okay it’s fun. 🥲
Oof no gearbox oil change in nearly a decade haha. She may be dead fella (the gearbox that is).
Shows my incompetence a little. But you live and learn 😅 whatever it needs will be done!
@@jwmeale3058 Happens to the best of us, glad to hear you’ll sort it
