I normally make traditional round sourdough with 100% whole wheat. I wanted a loaf shape and wasn't sure I could do it successfully. I tried your recipe and it was amazing! So fun to bake and easy! It tastes wonderful and is very light and tender. I love your approach and just basic common sense, not getting stuck like some people do in the nonsensical "rules" of sourdough. Your voice is very calming and I love watching your videos!
I am definitely going to get a cast iron bread pan. I was on the hunt for non-coated pans and form some reason, cast iron bread pans never occurred to me! lol. I was googling and came across your review and I am sold!
It hadn’t for me either! I use cast iron pretty much exclusively and somehow was shocked to discover there are bread pans. 😆 Since posting the review I got rid of my metallic one and just do both in cast iron.
