Now is the time to speak fearlessly and truthfully about caring about our planet and to stop harming all life, stop killing animals, insects and each other. We must stop supporting the military, fossil fuel, and chemical industrial complex(es) and must not continue to support the methane-producing and inhumane livestock industry. Valuable resources are being wasted on producing and consuming animal products. Climate engineering and weather warfare is disguised as a solution to the heating crisis, when actually it is just treating a symptom. Meanwhile the greed provokes the insane continuation of industrial and political conspiring to profit at the expense of all life.

The science has to keep changing the computer models because the predictions do not happen as predicted yet these libtarded asswipes want us to stop using fossil fuels without understanding how radically everyone's life will change. No one will fly anywhere as you can not run any kind of plane that can actually take cargo or people and run it on sunshine or batts. I love it. I was talking about global warming in the 80s and people laughed at me because I was a kid. And 30 years later things have only gotten worse. The city I live in is layered with smog, water is scarce, etc.
I am a dietitian and I speak up about the environmental NECESSITY of everyone adopting more plant-based diets.
It baffles me how many very intelligent nutrition professionals will insult me, and try to discredit plant-based diets and veganism.
They say that it is not their role, that they care only about nutrition.
Taking action to stop climate change, is everyone's responsibility and duty to adjust their lifestyles (diet, energy consumption and consumer behaviour).
And we should make ourselves heard.

What would be the environmental impact of 310,000,000 people suddenly demanding massive amounts more vegetables 🌽 , grains, nuts 🥜 and fruits 🍉 to meet protein and caloric intake? Is there enough land and water to support 95% new demand? What about labor- who’s going to pick all the millions of pounds of new crop? We don’t have enough immigrants for that unless we radically change immigration laws. Prices would surely skyrocket causing a new kind of crisis. That bag of almonds will go from $12 to $48 overnight. There will be full scale riots at Whole Foods in the avocado 🥑 isles.

I pity the young and those being born into this world now. Those in our 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond... really screwed this up royally. We used to not know, but we can’t claim ignorance any longer.

As a twelve year old, I became completely vegan. It took me about a year, but I eventually cut out all animal products altogether. Actually, that’s a lie because I still eat honey from my bees because if I didn’t, they could drown in their own honey and even then, there is no point in wasting honey.
People who recognize that it is a crisis seem hysterical, while those who ignore it seem rational. Ugh.. humanity doesn't deserve to live on this planet if this is what we are.

I feel her frustration. I was telling people about global warming when I was a girl in the 1980s. People laughed at me and shrugged it off. Here we are 30 years later and nothing has changed. We deserve everything that's coming to us.

I think it's consumerism that's the problem. "Consumerism is a social and economic order that encourages the acquisition of goods and services in ever-increasing amounts." If you have stopped eating animal products, anything that lowers your carbon footprint helps. Switch from plastic to glass or metal. Reuse as much as you can in your home before throwing it out. Limit paper products you buy. Recycle your electronics, compost food scraps, grow your own herbs in a window sill. It all adds up, but animal AG is No.1 to stop.
She said go on a hunger strike on the stairs of a government building in exchange for some action (or publicity). (Or something like that.)

They probably contribute more seeing as to how if you eat a varied vegan diet more things need to he transported from all over the world to a building where more energy is used to keep it "fresh". Buying local animal products on their wild natural diet is actually beneficial to the environment.

We are in the midst of the 6th mass extinction event as global temperatures rise while environmental disruption and degradation continues to accelerate. Our current crisis is a direct result of the playing out of the internal contradictions of the logic of capitalism. At the very least, industry must be heavily regulated in accordance with a rational plan to avert total human extinction. We must fight against the needless suffering, degradation, and destruction of the world!

Climate Scientists can pinpoint the rise in greenhouse gases and global temperatures with the rise of capitalism and wide scale industrialization. Capitalism is hinged upon profit at the cost of horrendous environmental and human/animal degradation and exploitation. Just ask well known Economist Richard Wolff from Democracy at Work that capitalism, while bringing some positives for sure, has brought about far more catastrophes and unconscienable inequality. This isn't about the private vs public sector, it's about people over profit- putting decision making power into the hands of the people in their own communities where it belongs. Worker owned cooperatives such as in Spain, Italy, even in the US, Canada etc have proven to be able to outcompete those run by individual property owners. Economically, environmentally, ethically socialism/communism is vital to our survival and of our future. This attitude of "me me me" at the cost of others is unsustainable, cruel and unecessary.
