  • This video details the processes for saving & loading mixer presets known as 'scenes', saving & loading channel presets, and copying/pasting channel settings from one channel to another.
'Scene recall' and 'Channel recall' are extremely powerful time-saving benefits that are only possible with digital mixers. You can have multiple scenes saved to various files covering various rooms, band ensembles and other combinations and recall all of your meticulously applied settings in an instant for a perfect mix time and time again, and you no longer have to worry about changing someone elses settings - as long as they're saved to another scene file, they can recall them in an instant too.
*Note; just be sure to back up your precious 'scene files' to more than one location!
The Behringer XAir app works on Windows 7 or later, Mac OSX, iOS (iPads/iPhones) and Android operating systems and can be downloaded from the link below for Windows/Mac machines or via the App Store on iOS and Google Play Store on android devices:

Appreciate this video is over a year old, but the current air mixer app doesn't seem to ave a Save or Load feature?? How are we supposed to save mixer setting?

Nothing has changed. The save and load is at top right in the Mac or PC editor. The iPad and android versions are different.

If you're on the iPad version, note also that you need to click the 'Shows' tab at the top on the main mixer page to be able to save and load scenes.

Is there a way to save and load scenes to and from a usb thumb drive plugged into the xair?

No. XAir doesn’t support memory device.

The channel config (gain & 48v etcetera) doesn't seem to save/load when doing channel presets. Any ideas ?

@@michaelbrown5372 Thanks for the reply - it seems this was a restriction with the X-air version of mixingstation - I suspect this will have been addressed by now. However the Behringer X-Air App wasn't copy/pasting these settings sadly either. Again hopeful that MixingStation will have this sooner or later as it had amazing full copy/paste and even move channel on X32
